("Quartz")Charlie: (VO) A restored jukebox! The combination of two oversized bass speakers and upper horns created the wide tonal range for any modern records - deep full bass and crisp mids and highs. The classic 1976 cabinet design incorporates rear lit acrylic panels, simulating neon tubes. The cabinet is in terrific condition, without the typical "honky-tonk" bar wear seen on so many jukeboxes. The machine accepts 80 records, or 160 selections. The box has just been professionally serviced, and plays and sounds amazing! It is currently set up for a 25 cent coin, but can be changed to free play, if desired. Furnished by Off the Wall Antiques. (cheers and applause) Greg: Very nice prize, Brian. That's worth $4,800; and is yours to keep regardless of the outcome of the game. Speaking of Monty Hall, his daughter, Joanna Gleason, made her television debut on the last original syndicated episode of Let's Make a Deal in 1977. We'll be right back. (main theme to commercial)(cheers and applause) (main theme closes, cheers and applause)Greg: We're back with Round 2. Matt: $20 Jon: $35 Brian: $35
Matt's at $20, while Jon and Brian are at $35. More questions. 1. Mach refers to the speed of what? 2. The Golden Fleece was a treasure sought by whom? 3. What plant has a name from the French meaning "lion's tooth"? 4. What author was still an English teacher at Maine's Hampden Academy when his first book was published? 5. What color eggs do peacocks lay?
(buzzcodes and answers, please)

(Mitch prepares for an aerial dogfight)Stacey: Jon, if you feel the need, the need for speed that is, you can become a fighter pilot. You and a guest will report to Air Combat USA in Fullerton where you will be taught the Tactical Fighter Maneuvers (TFM-l). Fully briefed you’ll climb into fully aerobatic, high-performance aircraft alongside your instructor. With your hands on the controls you will engage in multiple “g-pulling” dogfights. Your flight will be recorded in Hi-Def on an SD card, reviewed in a flight debriefing and given to you after your mission. Then, you'll learn defensive tactics in Phase II, high G-load tactics in Phase III and then bring it all together in Phase IV. It's an experience you'll never forget, furnished by Air Combat USA. It's normally priced at....$10,360But on $ale of the Century, you can take to the skies for only.....$11(audience cheers as I join them) Greg: (singing) "Off we go into the wild blue yonder"...... (I laugh) Jon, this is a fantastic prize. You get to go up into a real fighter jet and do all kinds of things. So, do you feel the need for speed?

(fade in) (main theme closes, cheers and applause)Greg: We're still on the rebound from the now-revoked victory from yesterday, but we have a good match. Matt: $20 Jon: $55 Brian: $45
Jon is in the lead by $10..... [FAME GAME]But there's a $10 and now a $15 Money Card going up on the board. Looking for a famous thing. I am a motion picture released on July 25, 1980. I launched two careers, one for my director, and one for one of the stars. Grossing nearly $40 million at the domestic box office, the 17th highest of the year, I was the first of a series of similar comedies. I have garnered a large cult following and have been hailed by media outlets as one of the funniest movies of all time in my genre. My story was inspired by writer and co-star Brian Doyle-Murray's memories working at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka, Illinois. Many of my characters were based on real people. I was shot over 11 weeks during the autumn of 1979. On June 7, 2001; Bill Murray, Brian Doyle-Murray, and their other four brothers opened a themed restaurant inspired by me at the World Golf Village, near St. Augustine, Florida.(buzzcode and answer, please)

[CASHCARD]It's time for the CashCard, and we have a tie! That means we're going to have a silent auction. First, the basic CashCard rules. Four suits, one of them gives you $15, one gives you a random amount between $1 and $50, one gives you this prize..... (Galen and Katy sail the open seas)Stacey: Actually, it's two prizes. Jon or Brian, you and a mate can take to the open water with this his-and-hers pair of boats.
For him, the 2015 TRACKER® GRIZZLY® 2072 MVX Center Console, with an expansive 8' 1" beam and an impressive length of 21' 5" —so whether you're stalking the flats for bull reds or cruising the river for giant cats, the 2072 will give you a rugged, stable platform for the most rigorous on-the-water adventures. The complete package includes a Mercury® 60 horsepower ELPT FourStroke EFI motor and a single-axle trailer.
For her, the more petite 2015 TRACKER® GRIZZLY® 1754 MVX Side Console. At 17'1" and with an extra-wide 78" beam, this boat is incredibly spacious and stable, with room for up to 5 people, and can be powered by up to a 75 horsepower motor. (I present the check) $45,000(audience cheers) OK, now here's how it works. In a moment, you'll have 30 seconds to lock in a bid of up to $15 or you may pass. If you both bid, the high bid wins. If you both pass, none of you get it. If one of you passes, the other person gets it. All right. So secretly lock in your bids..... now! (the lights dim as the thinking music plays)(please either submit a bid or "Pass" via PM, please)

(the lights come up) Greg: Ooooh, let's see what everyone said. Jon, we start with you. It's tempting, but I will pass. "It's tempting, but I will pass." OK, then. Brian, if you've bid something, it's yours. Hmm, a bid of $7. Very good, it's yours for more than half off. Matt: $25 Jon: $60 Brian: $53
Brian, I really hope this pays off for you. Pick a suit, my friend.

Are you a girl? (I laugh) Eh.... it didn't work. (I select Diamonds on the touchscreen) [HEARTS] [SPADES] <DIAMONDS> [CLUBS] Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh-kay, then. Since you bought it for under $15, anything here would be good. Let's see if it really pays off.... (drumroll) For $45,000..... what is behind Diamonds? (I press the button) (blip)[HEARTS] [SPADES] <$15> [CLUBS] Well, you got $15. (audience applauds) Matt: $25 Jon: $60 Brian: $68
That gives you an $8 lead over Jon. Let's see where the CashCard was this time. Any guesses? (audience shouts suggestions) Clubs? (I press the button) [CASHCARD] [PRIZE] <$15> [RANDOM CASH] Uh uh. Hearts. It goes all the way up to 50K, which is where it'll stay until we give it away. Hopefully, that will be Monday. Back after this. (main theme to commercial)(cheers and applause) (fade to commercial) (main theme closes, cheers and applause)(fade in) Greg: It's come to my attention that someone hacked into the airwaves and decided to Rickroll the entire country, so part of Round 3 was not broadcast. The complete episode has been recorded, and we will edit Round 3 into a complete episode which will air on Buzzr. Check your local listings. The scores we have are correct, and it should not impact the game. You'll get more details on this during your local news on most of these NBC stations. Now, we could not give out the CashCard, which is always a disappointing way to end the week. Matt: $25 Jon: $60 Brian: $68
But Brian now has an $8 lead over Jon as we come back to these questions. 1. What Arthurian court name was used to describe JFK's White House? 2. What 1987 hit film was based on a French film called Trois Hommes et un Couffin? 3. According to Shakespeare's Hamlet, what did the "slings and arrows" belong to?(buzzcodes and answers, please)

[FAME GAME]Matt, if you'd like to get back into this, and I know you do, we've got all three Money Cards up on the board. A famous person this time. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Lebanese Druze immigrant parents. I was named for Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. My first experience in radio was covering sports at Northwestern High School in Detroit. While at Wayne State University, I voiced children on radio programs such as The Lone Ranger and Challenge of the Yukon. When I was drafted, I worked as a DJ/announcer on the Armed Forces Radio Korea Network. After the war, I moved to California. At KYA in San Francisco, the general manager first suggested I tone down my 'platter patter' and talk about the records instead. That would prove to be the best suggestion I had ever received. I earned roles in a number of low budget movies, and acted on radio dramas, and later moved into voice acting for cartoons. Later, I attracted the attention of Dick Clark who as a producer hired me to co-host a daily teenage music show starting in 1964. However, my voice has always been the key to my career. I had a minor hit single called "Letter From Elaina". A spoken-word recording, it told the story of a girl who met George Harrison after a San Francisco concert. It would be the predecessor to a regular feature in my numerous radio shows.(buzzcode and answer, please)

[OK, more clues, then.]
On July 4, 1970, I, along with Don Bustany, Tom Rounds and Ron Jacobs, launched the weekly radio program American Top 40. The show counted down from #40 on the pop charts to #1 according to the Billboard Hot 100 chart each week. I ended up hosting the show for eighteen years, and then again for another six years before passing it to Ryan Seacrest. From 1989 to 1998, I hosted another countdown that bears my first name. Frequently, he mentioned a trivia fact about an unnamed singer before a commercial break, then provided the name of the singer after returning from the break. Born with the name Kemal Amen, but having a nickname starting with C, and with a last name starting with K, I am....
