Very good. Nels Snesrud, the time has come for you to play the Winner's Big Money Board. Let's roll! (1989 cue) Very well Nels, here we stand. You've just won the match and a nice grand prize for having done so. Now comes the time where you might be able to purchase a briefcase filled with cash for as little as $25. In a moment, you will be selecting numbers to come up with the correct combination code which will open our bank vault. And today in the vault for you we have... A briefcase containing $5,000 in cash. Right now that costs just $25. But we must close up the vault for now. (slams shut) As I mentioned, the current cost for that cash briefcase is only $25, and here is your voucher for $25 to start the game off. Now then, to help you further Nels, we will tell you the first digit in the vault combination for today's game. It is a 6. To further help you Nels, know that there will never be any repeating digits in this code. And to help you even more, we'll remove four of the remaining nine digits from the board that are not part of today's combination. Left are a 1, 3, 4, 8 and 9. All but one of those digits makes up the winning combination. I am now going to ask you to tell me what the next digit is in the combination. If you tell me correctly, the price of the briefcase will remain at $25. If however you give me an incorrect number, the price of the briefcase will grow by $25, and will go up by $25 with each mistake made afterward, so the fewer mistakes you make, the better your chances are of winning. After every correct digit is placed by you in the combination, you will then get to select from this board. Hidden up on this board are various money amounts, some $5 cards, some $10 cards, some $25, some $50, one $75, one worth $200 and two that are zeroes, so try to avoid them. Once you have the entire combination filled in, we will reveal the amounts behind your four choices on this board. And if you score enough dollars to purchase the briefcase, you will be $5,000 richer. Do you have any questions Nels? If so, feel free to ask, otherwise please tell me if the second digit in the combination code is a 1, 3, 4, 8 or 9.

Is the next digit in the combination an 8? (buzzer) No it is not. Now the cost of the $5,000 briefcase will increase to $50. Try again Nels with 1, 3, 4 or 9.

Come on be there... Three! No, now the briefcase price rises to $75, still a great bargain, but you don't want that price to go any higher if you can help it Nels. That next digit is either 1, 4 or 9. Which do you think it is Nels?

Is it 3? (buzzer) No, it was 1, so we fill that in and increase the price to $150. And now you will get to select another number from the board Nels. Which one looks good this time Nels?

14 is now yours. Let me know please if this image is okay or if it's too large. To keep the price of the briefcase at $150 Nels, tell me, is the last digit of the vault combination the 3 or the 9? If correct, you'll need $150 to win, if not, you'll need $175 to win.

Is it 3? (buzzer) No, it was the 9. The price is now $175. And you get one more pick from the board Nels. Make it a good one.

And strangely enough I am happy to report that postimage is once again working for me for some odd reason. The briefcase containing $5,000 can be yours for the low sale price of just $175 Nels, if you have banked up enough dollars to do so. We gave you $25 to begin. Let's see what #12 has for you... $200! YOU WIN!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! (win cue) Nels your very first pick was the big one! Fantastic! That's $5,000 in cash! Way to go! I hope you liked this idea. I very much do and am seriously considering it for episode 5. Thank you for giving this a test run Nels. And in case you were wondering what the other numbers had, and where all the other cards were, here's the answer key I made up for this game.
