Warmest greetings of the seasons again to one and all. I hope you are doing well.
I am just back from my initial visit with my new retinal specialist. As a result of some eye issues relative to diabetes, I will begin receiving injections in my right eye.
The first one is scheduled for Friday, January 19th 2024. I more than likely will be off the boards for part of that day and maybe the weekend, depending on how things go and how I am feeling, etc.
I will require an injection every 3 months, but I don't know if that's just for a year or longer yet. I suppose time will tell. Laser surgery was the other option but he seemed to not like that option as much, nor did I, due to potential permanent side effects as a result.
I will, circumstances allowing, resume my hosting duties tomorrow (Saturday, December 9th). I will do Pot Limit, the bonus game for Split Decision with Kourtney, and also update my Sale of the Century segment leading up to the Instant Cash game.
Also I may be testing out something in beta testing for Split Decision's next episode. I'll go into further details in that section when I begin that thread.
