Hello friends, I’ll be honest, I miss hosting around here. I miss the atmosphere, the vibe, and the fun that I used to have, living out one of my dreams of being a game show host. Watching older game shows, and lurking the boards seeing what you guys have done, only adds to the “sorrow” (not really a sorrow, but you get it). Considering that I’ll be done with all of school on the 15th for the semester, I’ll have more time in my hands to host for the time being (about a month afterwards). My other classes end before then, so I wanna say that week I wanna host one show, one time, and then…well who knows. I could be a semi-regular to the tune of Bill McDee. I have a newly created show already mapped out (the set of which I’ve posted), I can do Holiday Feud, Wheel, Jeopardy, Hollywood Sqaures maybe, Match Game, Price, you choose! BUT! That’s only if the collective wants it. I’ll leave it to you guys if you wanna see me do a holiday stint or not, so by Monday if you guys wanna see me host again I’ll make it happen! Thanks and happy holidays, Immanuel Oh, by the way, I’m open to suggestions as to what show you wanna see

Hollywood Squares is not a bad idea.

Oh also! Hosting, and hosting only. I won’t be a contestant, because I wouldn’t want to be sucked in if I were a champion, I wouldn’t want the semester to start and then I’d be taxed with homework AND being a contestant!

Hosting that, like I said isn't a bad idea.

Hollywood Squares is not a bad idea. I love Hollywood Squares, the only thing I’d have to put together is the car display. Everything I can probably find

I totally get you missing that "vibe", and always look forward to see what you have to offer, especially graphic wise. I should make one correction though about yours truly. I'm not semi-regular, not since I began taking a fiber capsule each morning with breakfast

Do I hear someone said "Hollywood Squares"?
Immanuel... if you're thinking about hosting H2. Please let me know. I'll hook you up with the designs and props for you if you don't mind.

Following up on this, as ai see already 2 people wanting Hollywood Squares
The only other problem: I need ELEVEN people, that’s a lot of folks, plus not to mention MGHSH already going strong….
However, I’d love to host Squares again

Sensational, Tony! I was also gonna make my own rendition when the time came as well!
Well, that’s already 3 for squares! Any more takers and we can have a full house by the time we launch in what would be 2 weeks!

Added a poll, if 11 people want Squares, we'll do Holiday Squares for ol' John Davidson, my favorite era of Hollywood Squares.
If, by the 15th, I don't have enough interest, we'll do an hour-long Wheel special, in daytime.
Some rules for both:
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Based on the 1986-88 daytime show
2 games are played between 5 total people (4 players and the champion, or champion pro tempore if no champion exists). The highest winner from game 2 goes to play the bonus round.
Instead of shopping, there are 10 prizes on display for each half (Much like the bonus round of ‘87). After the player wins a round, they choose one of the prizes that they can afford, or they can put the money on account to help build on a prize that they’re eyeballing. If they pick the one “special” prize, they win a $5,000 cash bonus.
Example, if they only have $1,000, but really want a $3,000 Paris trip, they can save the money and hope to get the extra $2,000 to pay for the trip.
Cars range from $15,000 to $25,000. Prizes total $150,000 to $160,000
Similar to the hour-long shows of 1975, updated for the Jackpot-era daytime show.
If the player hits Bankrupt, they lose the money on account.
Prizes range from $1,000-$5,000
Game of 2 halves, the structure for the first half is as follows:
Intro/Interviews
Round 1: Top dollar value is $1,000
Chance to shop
Commercial
Round 2: Top dollar value is $1,250
Chance to shop
Commercial
Round 3: Top dollar value is $1,500
Car wedge on the wheel (Car priced around $15,000 to $17,000). If won, the player does not have the chance to shop
The winner of the first half goes to game 2, to play against the fourth player and the champion. The other 2 players leave with parting gifts.
Intro/Interviews
Round 1: Top dollar value is $1,250
Chance to shop
Commercial
Round 2: Top dollar value is $1,500
Chance to shop
Commercial
Round 3/4: Top dollar value is $2,000
The car wedge returns to the wheel in round 4, if it went unclaimed. The fourth round also may or may go to speedup.
Round 3 guaranteed has a chance to shop
Whoever is ahead at the end of the game wins, and plays the bonus round.
BONUS ROUND: This is a scaled-down version of the pick-a-prize format.
Of what should be 3 or 4 prizes left, plus the car if the car wedge went unclaimed, for a total of up to 5 prizes, the player chooses one to play for. This is chosen before the commercial.
Commercial _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
PERSON (Bill Withers)
The player calls 5 consonants and a vowel, to which the letters are revealed on the board. 48 hours for the player to solve, and the player wins the prize if they solve the puzzle
HOLLYWOOD SQUARES I was thinking of combining Hollywood Squares with Tic Tac Dough, to add a little variety:
Instead of each round being a certain amount of money, each correct answer and captured square adds money to a Christmas Cashpot ($100 for each of the outer squares, and $200 for the center square, for $1,000 total). The person who wins the round wins the pot. The person ahead after 3 rounds wins the game.
I also wanna change the bonus round. I don't like how arbitrary winning a car was in the original. Choosing one of seven keys and randomly choosing a car and hoping it starts doesn't seem to fair, so...
The player chooses a square, and has to decipher whether the star's answer is true or false, like the main game. Getting 3 in a row within 6 questions lets them win one of the 7 cars. This effectively makes this an extra round against the house, and will (hopefully) pad the run time.
The rest of the show is played as normal
What do you guys think? Which show should take the cake? Again, I just worry if I'll get 11 people, or if the show would get scrapped

Golly both look incredible, but I voted for Squares for two reasons.
1. I remember you did very well hosting Squares during MG/HS hour and
2. As gorgeous as that Wheel set is, beautiful holiday stuff, I know you've hosted that more so I'd love to see you do a full out HS episode.
Also, if that is me sitting in the "O" podium, may I say I never looked better!
