Kourtney Wilson returns with 1 win and $2,225. I need a new opponent to take him on. For this episode, I will be experimenting with a "Sum Total" toss up game instead of using word puzzles. The dice 1, 2 and 3 will appear in the top row in green, while the dice 4, 5 and 6 will appear in the bottom row in gold. Whichever player is in control of this board will select one die from each row. If their first 2 picks total exactly 7, they win $50 and control of the hand. If they require a third pick, they will first need to choose which die they want to keep and then attempt to find the other die to make it total 7 (think of Pick A Pair from The Price is Right). Getting a sum total of 7 in that case will earn the player $25 and control of the hand. Failure to do so will give control of the hand to the other player automatically. Turns will alternate for this toss up game regardless of the score and regardless of who may be leading in the match. The Hi Lo Toss Up game will still be used, with the added Joker now in the mix. Lastly, and this was a last minute change, I am now going to have the first card at the start of each hand determine the value of the hand as follows: First Card is: A or 2 = $250 K or 3 = $225 Q or 4 = $200 J or 5 = $175 10 or 6 = $150 9, 8 or 7 = $125 And as always, if it's the third hand that the player wins, they will receive double the dollar value of the hand. Who would like to challenge Kourtney?

It's the card game where Ace is always high and Deuce is always low. Turn any two cards in the deck face up, then just try to fit a card in between that's neither higher nor lower. Welcome to the newest, high stakes card game on television. SPLIT DECISION! (Cheering & applause) With your host, Bill McDee! That's me! Hello and welcome into another edition of Split Decision, the crazy card game where almost anything can, and often does, happen. On our last show we bade a fond farewell to our all time highest money winner, George Cluster, who won almost $80,000. Back today to complete is the gentlemen who defeated him, Kourtney Wilson, and Kourtney is back with $2,225 in cash. (applause) Ran into a bummer at the end of our Pot Limit round which seems to have happened far too often thus far. Hopefully today will prove otherwise. To take him on is a return challenger, he has been with us three other times to compete, but has yet to win a match. Back for his fourth go at it, with prior winnings totalling $4,500, which will not count during this newest run, welcome back once again Lieutenant Shederick Weatherspoon, Jr.! (applause & cheers) As I recall you two faced off one other time and that was one doozy of a match, and I expect nothing less than the same here today. We've made a change or two or three to our game. I will explain each one when we come to them. Right now the first order of business is for our returning champion Kourtney to select one of two decks. We play with one standard deck of 52 cards per game, and we play a best two out of three game match, with game three being a one hand, sudden death tie-breaker. Kourtney, please select from either the left deck or the right deck. And Shederick, if you please, select any number higher than 0 but lower than 52 to cut the deck.

Very good, now we just need Shederick to cut the cards and we'll get game 1 underway.

Channeling the spirit of George I see! Very good. Now in the past our players had to ring in first with a correct answer to a word puzzle. For this show, and perhaps future ones, we'll be experimenting with a new way to determine control of the hand. And here's how it will work. Players will alternate turns at the start each time we play this game, and we'll start with Kourtney. Hidden behind the top row in green are the numbers 1, 2 and 3, shuffled up. The bottom row in gold has the numbers 4, 5 and 6. To win control of the cards and the first hand Kourtney, you must select a pair of these dice that will total exactly 7. If you do so in just 2 tries, you'll score $50 and win control of the first hand. If you need 3 tries to do so, you'll score $25 and win control. If you fail to get a total of 7, Shederick will not win any money but will win control over the hand. One other thing I should point out, if your first 2 picks are the 1 and the 6, you'll score $75. Kourtney, please select one top letter and one bottom letter and we'll see what your total comes to.

Let’s go with B and F.

And with that pair this time you got... 3 and a 6 for 9. Too much there. Kourtney, one more chance to try for $25. Select one more letter. Whichever row you pick from this time will have to pair up with the exposed die on the opposite row to total 7.

Let’s try E.

Trying to pair up the 3 with a 4. Did Kourtney do it with "E"? Not quite, this means Shederick, you will have control of placing the first three cards in this first hand today. Another change we have made to our game is the opening card will now determine the value of the hand, as you will see by the chart. Let's reveal the first card please Witney. It is a Queen, which means the winner of this hand will earn $200. As always, the first to win 3 hands wins one game and it takes two games to win the match. Shederick, you may pass the Queen down to Kourtney for his hand, place it in the center spot as the common card that you two will share, or you may keep that Queen for your own hand. Where do you wish to place that card Shederick?

The Queen is yours sir. Next card... A King! Do you want to give that to Kourtney or place it in the center spot Shederick?

Never easy to have to give away such a good card. And the common card for this first hand is... An 8. So almost an even split, Kourtney's split is slightly wider. Now to determine who will get to decide the fate of the final and most pivotal card of this hand. We do this by playing a Hi Lo Toss Up game with a separate board and a separate "deck" of 14 "cards" on my screen. Recently we have added a new feature. If any player's very first selection during the first Hi Lo Toss Up reveals the Ace, not only do they automatically win control of the hand, but will also receive a $500 bonus as well. Players and friends at home watching, Shederick will select two of the fourteen boxes from this board. They will be revealed in the order in which they are selected, with one exception. First let me explain that the cards 2 through Ace are all on this board, and each one is there only once. After the first card is revealed, Shederick will have more decisions to make. He can decide to predict whether the second number he chose houses a card that is higher or lower than the one revealed OR, if it's a difficult decision to make, he has the option to pass and force Kourtney to make that decision instead. I would like to point out that we have added a 14th card into the mix, and that is the Joker. If the Joker is behind either number chosen, only IT will be revealed and the player will keep control without having to make a higher or lower prediction. However, if the first two picks made are the Joker PLUS the Ace, we will reveal both and the player's $500 bonus will be doubled to one thousand dollars! This is only during the very first picks in each game. Shederick, please select any two boxes in the order in which you would like them to be revealed.

And we have... A five showing. We know the 11 is not the Joker, for if it were, we would have shown that and only that. Shederick, you now can elect to predict whether the card under the 11 is higher or lower than the 5, or you can pass and have Kourtney make that decision. How do you wish to play it?

9 chances that you'll be right and retain control of the hand, only 3 chances that you will not. Is card 11 higher than a 5? Whoa NO! A 2 is LOWER! Kourtney, control goes over to YOU now. Six cards out of 13 will win for you, five cards out of 13 will win for Shederick. Kourtney, do you wish to keep the next card and hope it's a fit, or pass it to Shederick to try to bust him?

Let's see if Shederick wins this hand or gets his hand busted. It is a... bust! Deuces have hurt you early on in this game Shederick, and Kourtney takes the first hand. And we will take our first commercial time out. Lots more Split Decision, after this!

(intro from commercial music) We are back to finish up game one of our match. Kourtney with the early lead 1 hand to 0, but it takes three hands to win. And any time one of our contestants wins a game 3 hands to 0, they will win a $500 Clean Sweep jackpot, courtesy of our friends at Bissell. For the cleanest sweep in your home. Bissell is now home to a deeper clean. Back to our Split 7 game. Shederick, this time you'll attempt to select two dice to total 7. If you do so on your first 2 picks, you'll win control of the hand and $50. If your first 2 picks are the 1 and the 6, it will be $75 for you. Please select one green and one yellow box Shederick.

Promoting another network, but then again so too does the top line of our dice board. Got a 2 and a 6, a total of 8, missed it by THAT much. You get one more pick for $25 and control over the cards however. If you pick from the top row, you'll be needing a 1, and if you pick from the bottom row, you'll be wanting a 5. Which letter do you take this time Shederick?

And... No. Thus far today the dice have not been nice. Kourtney, you take control of this next hand and the first card for your consideration will be... an eight. This hand will be worth $125 to whoever wins it. Where do you want to place that card Kourtney?
