    Yes, that's right! I'm doing a SECOND episode of Press Your Luck 2023 this year, and this is Episode 13, and usually it's supposed to be unlucky, but this time, this is an exception, because this episode is the 40th Anniversary Special of Press Your Luck, so there was NO WAY I couldn't pass this up! Now, having said all of that, there's a recap that needs to be done... 1. Now usually, Immanuel Tims is supposed to be our champion with $114,315 in cash and prizes... ...however, he is going to retire from this and Net Game Central entirely, so as right now, there are no champions. 2. The Whammy's Bank is now at $977,954. 3. If you haven't seen the last episode, you should go check it out now.4. On two days a week I see a trainer and do weight training. On days I don't see my trainer, I do cardio. I'm usually there at least an hour.

Well, I am from Spartanburg, SC. I enjoy playing Mahjong for over 10 years (all for fun.), love to sing, listen to news themes around the world, play games, do word finds, and watch classic and current game shows. I have 5 friends out in the audience cheering me on.

Well, I just want to let you know that our Big Board is completely computerized and it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to remember the pattern of this board whatsoever, so don't try to play any mind games with the Board, all right?

Really any console/game that was easy to get back then, so the standard Ataris, Nintendos and Segas, although we've also had a couple pong consoles in the store not that long ago.

With all that said, let's wish our 3 players the very best of luck as we get our 40th Anniversary Special episode of Press Your Luck 2023 underway! (Audience Cheers and Applause) Well, we certainly have got a BIG episode for you tonight, and we'll see all of that as we go along, and now that we've met our players, it's time to meet our big star of the show: It's the Big Board! (Play the Big Board spinning loop at 10:25)    As the board spins, let me tell you how the game works. This game is played in two rounds, in which they each consist of two halves: The Question Round and the Big Board Round. First, I'll be asking a series of four questions, and if necessary, the "Big Spin Bonus" question in the first half of the round, and I hope you give me some good answers. The first player who can get the closest to my Magic Number between 1-100 will get to buzz in and answer the question. And then, that answer becomes one of three choices for the remaining 2 players. A correct buzz-in answer will give you 3 spins, and a correct multiple-choice answer will earn you 1 spin. Should we get less than 20 spins (aka A Perfect Question Round) after the 4 questions, the "Big Spin Bonus" question will be asked, which is a Multiple-Answer question, and only one of you will have a chance to buzz-in, and give me the number of correct answers. If you can successfully do that, then you'll head to our special "Spin Board" for a chance to pick up even more spins. However, if you cannot give me enough correct answers to that question, then your opponents will automatically get 2 spins. The more spins you have, the more money you could make (or break) at the second half of the round: The Big Board. And the Big Board itself is now computerized and it's filled with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. And anytime you stop the board like this.... STOP! | $1500 | $1250 | $1000 | $6000 + One Spin | Canada | Go Back 2 Spaces | | Whammy | P | R | E | SS | Luggage | | Across The Board | Y | O | U | R | $2000 + One Spin | | $1500 + One Spin | L | U | C | K | $1500 | | Double Your $$ | Move One Space | $3000 | $25,000 + One Spin |  | Add-A-One |
Ah! I stopped at $4000 or Lose 1 Whammy, and if you land on a square like that, then that will give you a decision to make, especially in the second round when you are on the verge of being Whammied out of the game, and I'll tell you about that in a moment, but for me in this example, I would take the $4000, which takes me up to $7,500 now, but players, you do have to be careful of the dreaded Whammy.  If you land on him, and he will take away all of the cash and prizes that you have earned up to that point, and if you get 4 of those, you WILL be sorry, because you'll be knocked out of the game. Now, the player at the end of the game that's earned the most money is our champion, and will also earn the right to play the Big Bonus Board for hundreds of thousands of dollars in cold hard cash, AND the right to come back and do it all over again. |
