It's sad, but it's true. You are correct, sir!  (Cheers and Applause) Yes, it's unfortunately official. Pat Sajak, the greatest host of all time on Wheel of Fortune, will be retiring at the end of this season. If there's any good news, at least Vanna White will be here for at least 2 more seasons. Also, we had a LOT of things on the Wheel, and incredibly, none of them were picked up. And incidentally, today's Monday, and what Wayne forgot to tell us was that we're taking a page out of the Let's Make A Deal playbook. Our Mega Mystery Round now has a theme for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and for Monday...  It's Mega Money Monday, and $30,000 was tonight's Mystery Prize, but that was not going to be the case tonight. However, for you George, you did manage to collect $1,900 from this round, and now you have a decision to make. DK: Welcome back to Wheel of Fortune: Diamond Deluxe, and we're now ready to get started with the second half of our first episode of the second season. It's Round 3, which means it's time for our Big Money/Express Round!  Yes, the Big Money wedge is back and it's bigger than ever! In case you don't know how this wedge works, don't worry; I'll tell you. You'll see the possibilities of the values being $5000, $7500, $10,000, $15,000 and $25,000. Now, if you land on one of those 5 amounts, and guess a letter in the puzzle correctly, you'll receive the flat-out value of that amount. Once one of those amounts is claimed, the Big Money wedge will then act as a $2000 wedge. However, I should warn you that BANKRUPT and LOSE A TURN are also present in that Big Money wedge as well. And now, we've added another new element in the Big Money Wedge...  ..and that is the Big Bandit. If you find that on the Big Money wedge, and you'll get to call one letter for $750 each, and then you'll have the option to solve the puzzle to STEAL EVERYTHING from BOTH players. But be careful, because if you go for it and fail, and you'll go BANKRUPT, and the Big Bandit will split the money 50/50 to your opponents.  And here's the Express Wedge. If you land on that, you first call a letter for $1,500. And if it's up there, you will then have a decision to make. You can either take the cash and continue on with your turn, or you can climb aboard the Express and call more consonants for $1,500 each. Vowels will now cost you $750. HOWEVER! If you either give me a letter that's NOT up there, or fail to give me a correct guess when solving the puzzle, not only will you go BANKRUPT, but you'll also LOSE THE NEXT TURN as well! BUT! There's an alternative. If you climb aboard the Express, you can choose the solve the puzzle RIGHT THEN AND THERE for a chance to play a special Mini-Bonus Game where you can win over $100,000 in cash and prizes! However, this is a one-time offer to the player who lands the Express Wedge first. The first or second attempt on the Express Wedge will now give an opportunity to play a special Prize Raid Express game for a chance to win a lot of cash, prizes, and tokens, including the new and improved Spitfire Multipliers token. I also want to remind you that we also have the POWER and SOLVE wedges on the wheel!  So basically, if you land on this wedge and call out a right letter, you get to steal another player's winnings (let it be cash winnings in that round together with Wild Card, 1/2 Car Plate(s), Million Wedge, Prize Wedge, Gift Tag, etc.) from either the player who's in first place or second (if you're in first). This is to prevent favoritism.  The concept of this wedge is pretty simple: if you land on this wedge, you have to solve the puzzle. If you can't, you'll go BANKRUPT. AND LOSE THE NEXT 2 TURNS in the process! If you are able to, you will DOUBLE your winnings. If you solve the puzzle with no winnings in your bank, the minimum house limit (which is $1,000) is doubled to $2,000. And, the Free Letter space has been doubled to $500. Plus, this is your last chance to get the Diamond Vault Bonus Feature off the Wheel and complete the first phase, and we still have the Invincibility token on the wheel, among other things, and players, that token now has a more important role to play...because now, we have a new wedge on the Wheel in this round, and it isn't pretty. The new wedge...is a SUPER BANKRUPT wedge.  (Audience Groans and Boos)If you are unfortunate to land on that, any winnings in this round AND the previous rounds you've won will all go Bye-Bye, and will be put into the VAULT. The Invincibility token will prevent you from losing the winnings from the previous rounds, but not the winnings in this round. Now enough with the bad news! How about we have some good news, Doc?
