Even though the exclamation point has been spaced out, we're still going to give it to you. You're correct, Nels.
(Audience Applause)
So Nels, you got the $2,500, which means that you are going to start off our first round in just a moment, but first, let's quickly talk about our Wheel. We got lots of cash and fabulous prizes and many items that are available, but since that this is our new season, you know that we did some changes, and I'll tell you about those new changes as we go along. Now, this first round Wheel hasn't changed much, but since we've been away, I'll tell you about them.
As you know, $2500 is the top dollar value for Round 1.
And in addition to all of the money you can win, we got other kinds of good things on the Wheel. For instance, we have the Take Two wedge in honor of Bill McDee.
TAKE 2 $250
If you land on that wedge, and you will get to call 2 letters in the puzzle at $250 for each letter. However, in order for you to keep your turn, BOTH of them must be in the puzzle.
Next, we have the Double Up! wedge.
DOUBLE UP! $500
This wedge is not only for my good friend MetalPikachu3500, but this was part of a Kids' version of Wheel, known as Wheel 2000. Land on that wedge, and I'll give you a True-or-False statement. Get it right, and you'll call one letter worth $1,000 each. Otherwise, it's still going to be $500 for each letter.
Also from Wheel 2000, is our Website Wedge, www.wheeloffortune.com.
WWW.WHEELOFFORTUNE.COM $500
For you folks at home, the link is available and you can log on to our website as much as you like, but players, if you land on that wedge, which is only available in this round, and you'll get one lucky registered SPIN I.D. member a chance to win some cash with you.
There are other good things on the Wheel, and I'll tell you more about those when we cross that path.
Now there are 3 important things that you really need to know. First, the Lose A Turn wedge...
(Oh Dear...)
Try not to land on that, because if you do...
you'll suffer the wrath of Baldi, who will take you to detention...
...where the Principal of The Thing will be teaching you a thing or two; all while losing your turn in the process.
And if that wasn't bad enough, we have the dreaded BANKRUPT.
(BANKRUPT!) (Evil Laughter)
(Audience Groans and Boos)
You certainly DO NOT want to land on that, or else...
...any one of the BANKRUPT BRIGADE will come out and jumpscare you to death, losing your turn in the process...
...while Phanto will steal all of the cash and prizes that you have accumulated in the round and will put it into the VAULT, which will be available in Round 4, if time permits.
And last, but certainly not least, we have the One Million Dollar Wedge!
(MDW Lucky Cue)
(Audience Cheers and Applause)
Now, if you get this wedge by calling out a letter correctly, then solving the puzzle correctly within that round and win the game by avoiding BANKRUPTs, and you could be one spin and solve away from possibly winning $1,000,000.
And that's just one of the 2 Super Features that we have on the Wheel. The 2nd one will be introduced in Round 2.
Now Doc, I believe that it's your turn to do some talking, because it's time for our Jackpot Round.
Doc: OK, everybody. Listen up. Tonight's Jackpot Round is brought to you by...
Egg-Land's Best Eggs. Hungry for the best? It's EB. More Vitamins, Omega-3's, and less saturated fat. It's easy for your family to get the very best in taste, freshness, and nutrition. Egg-Land's Best. Better Eggs.
(Audience Applause)
DK: Thanks, Doc. Now, there's one more thing I should mention about the Jackpot Wedge: Any unclaimed Jackpots from this round will be added up into a Super Jackpot, which starts off at $250,000, and that will be sealed in an envelope amongst the 24 envelopes in our Bonus Wheel in the Bonus Round. We'll total up the unclaimed for the next 10 episodes aired, starting with this episode, and continuing all the way to Episode 20.
Now then, let's all take a look at the Wheel for our opening round, the Jackpot Round.

There's a $3,000 bonus available, but you'll only get that chance if you solve the puzzle. And by that, I mean by applying the Golden Rule of Solving, where your solution must be BOLD and CAPITALIZED, or else you'll be penalized for an incorrect answer. Not to mention that it must be EXACTLY what's shown on the puzzle; no extra punctuation marks, or extra spaces or anything like that.
Nels, for winning the $2,500 Toss-Up, you've won the right to start this round, as well as tonight's first game of our second season of Wheel Of Fortune: Diamond Deluxe. Good luck to all 3 of you!
