Making a few changes for episode #2. FAME GAME Rather than a biography of a famous person, a Wheel of Fortune type puzzle will be used instead. A category will be given (Person, Place, Thing, Landmark). Each player will PM how few letters they will need in order to solve the puzzle. Each player will also PM a buzz code in the event that two or more make the same bid. Random.org will be used to place all of the letters into the puzzle. If the first player is stumped, then the player with the next highest bid will have the added number of letters bid added to the puzzle and get to guess. In the event the same number of letters were bid, only one additional letter will be placed into the puzzle. If the second player is also stumped, the last player will automatically have all of the puzzle revealed except for one letter and will get to guess at it. Also the Fame Game board will now have a $5 money card right away, a "SWAP & PICK AGAIN" card and a " Or Try Again" card. The will be a random cash amount ranging from $500 up to $1,000. The "SWAP" card can be used during an Instant Bargain game, during a Fame Game or at the Winner's Board end game. Other cash amounts on the Fame Game board will be replaced with prizes. SPEED ROUND As before, the champion automatically gets to play in this final round against his closest challenger only. There will still be a total of $50 up for grabs however now it will only be 7 questions in total instead of 10. The first 2 questions will be worth $5, then the last 5 will be worth one dollar more each time. Question 1 - $5 Question 2 - $5 Question 3 - $6 Question 4 - $7 Question 5 - $8 Question 6 - $9 Question 7 - $10 George Cluster is the 1 day champion with $5,750 in cash and prizes. I will need him to please check in and two new challengers to take him on.

Very sound advice for life itself! Good luck as you go up against two more eager challengers. Please extend a warm welcome to Michael Koontz and Kevin Kolsen! You'll notice George's name is in GOLD, that is to signify that he is the current champion, and as such, he automatically will play through to today's Speed Round, known as the Super Seven Round. We'll talk about that much later on when we get there. For now players, we'll start each of you off with a pair of sawbucks. If you buzz in first with a correct answer to a question, we will add $5 to your score, an incorrect answer will cost you 5. Gentlemen I'm about to post the first 5 questions for today's match. Please submit your answers and your buzzcodes to me via private message no later than 5:30pm EST on Monday, October 2nd. If you do not know an answer, or are not sure, you can just say PASS to avoid the risk of losing $5. All buzz codes are higher than 0 and lower than 101. And here we go, good luck to all three of you today. 1 How many hours are there in a standard day? 2 Cottage, cheddar and Swiss are all types of what food? 3 What moving company shares its name with the name of the ship associated with the Pilgrims? 4 Jacqueline Bouvier was married to which former United States President? 5 What is the name of the wrought iron lattice tower found in Paris, France?

How many hours are there in a standard day? Michael - 24 Right and you go to 25. Cottage, cheddar and Swiss are all types of what food? Michael - Cheese And two in a row for Michael, goes to 30. What moving company shares its name with the name of the ship associated with the Pilgrims? Michael again. The Mayflower. And three in a row for the challenger, up to 35. Jacqueline Bouvier was married to which former United States President? George - Kennedy. And the champion scores his first 5 of the match. What is the name of the wrought iron lattice tower found in Paris, France? George - The Eiffel Tower. And now two in a row for the champ, goes to 30. televisiontunes.com/Sale_of_The_Century___Instant_Bargain_Bell.htmlAnd that sound means it's time for our first Instant Bargain of the day. The player in the lead has a chance to win some bargain merchandise. Michael, you currently have a 5 dollar lead over our champion George, so this first bargain could be yours... From Legend, this 14 piece cookware set, durable and able to be used both indoors and outdoors, it has a 5 ply stainless steel resin, and is ordinarily priced at $600... but can be yours today for $5... or perhaps even for free, on $ale of the Century! Michael, some nice cookware up for grabs, nice to make hot meals especially now that the cooler months are approaching us. We have a new way of doing our Instant Bargains. Hidden behind each letter in the word "SALE" is a different outcome. One says minus $5. If you select that, we will deduct 5 dollars from your score and you will win that cookware, which will be yours to keep, no matter how you finish in the game. One says minus $5 and SURPRISE, which means you'll also win a cash bonus as a sale surprise as well as that cookware. One says "NO SALE", if you choose that, no prize, but you'll stay at $35. And one says "GIVEAWAY", if you pick that, we'll just GIVE you that cookware and it won't cost you even a dollar. Michael, please select a letter.

Under the L we have... Minus 5 and the Sale Surprise! You're the first player to get that with this edition of $ale. So in addition to the cookware you've also won... $500 in cash for groceries! $1,100 bargain for just 5 bucks, the value of one question. Now you and George are tied at 30, Kevin just 2 questions back at 20, and I have 3 more questions players. Please submit your answers and buzz codes to me via PM no later than 10:30pm EST on Monday, October 2nd to the following: 1 Detroit's Major League Baseball team nickname is named for this striped cat. 2 According to the old adage, what color haired girls "have more fun"? 3 According to the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas", how many gold rings did my true love send to me?

Detroit's Major League Baseball team nickname is named for this striped cat. George - Tigers. And the champion is in the lead to 35. According to the old adage, what color haired girls "have more fun"? George - Blondes Right and George crosses the 40 dollar mark. Just a split second faster than Kevin on that one! According to the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas", how many gold rings did my true love send to me? Michael - Five And Michael goes to 35. Kevin take heart, you've had all the right answers, just these two have been a tad bit faster on the button. Also recall on our last show George started out slowly and wound up the winner. (DING DONG) Honey, can you answer that? I'm kind of busy at the moment! That sound means it is time for our FAME GAME, and believe it or not, we've actually sort of lifted this from the 2007 failure that was "Temptation". Quite simply it will be a word puzzle. In this first instance, we're looking for a famous LANDMARK. It is a two word puzzle, 13 total letters in this puzzle players. What I'll ask each of you to do is to PM me how few letters you believe you will need revealed in order to correctly solve this puzzle. The first player to do so will win control of our fame game board, where we have various prizes, plus a 5 and a 10 dollar money card to add to your current score. Playing for the right to pick from that board only, no dollar amount associated with this. Players, I need you to PM to me two things, first how few letters out of 13 you think you will need to solve this puzzle, and 2, a buzz code from 1 to 100, in the event that two or more of you should bid the same number of letters. Once I receive all 3 PMs, we will fill in letters at random into the puzzle. Bids and buzz codes are due no later than 4:45am on Tuesday, October 3rd.

And behind the number 4 we have... Tools... From Husky Mechanics comes this 290 piece tool set, the wrenches and fittings are made from stainless steel and are good to use for many of your auto's fix-it needs. $437 worth of tools, and a tool box is included, yours to keep no matter how you finish in the game. So heading out of our first segment, George the champion has 40, Michael stays at 35, just one question behind, and Kevin has yet to be heard from, he's at 20. It's very early though, and there's a lot more to come! More questions and another instant bargain after we take this time out!

Please submit your answers and buzz codes via private message to me no later than 6:30am EST on Wednesday, October 4th. Upon whose death last year did Prince Charles of England finally become King? Kevin - Queen Elizabeth II Right and Kevin now has his first 5 of the day and goes to 25. What five letter word precedes the words "Smoker" "Reaction" and "Gang"? Kevin - Chain And two in a row now for Kevin, taking him to 30. In baseball, a home run hit with the bases loaded is called a, what? George - Grand Slam And the champion is heard from again and goes to 45. What game involves clubs, tees, fairways and greens? George - Golf. Correct, and George now takes a 15 dollar lead over Michael, going to 50. (Instant Bargain bells) Either Tinkerbell is in the house, or it's time for another Instant Bargain. This time George it is you who is in the lead, and it is you who might win this... It's luggage. This durable three piece luggage set from Heys is made of 100 percent lightweight polycarbonate material with a stylish metalic texture. And this luggage is normally priced at $1,298, but can be yours today for only $10 or perhaps even for free, on $ale of the Century! Well George, worst case scenario, even if you end up having to buy that for $10, you'd still have a $5 lead over Michael. If you get back to that winner's board today, a trip to Rio is up there, and that luggage would come in quite handy. Four possible outcomes as before, including another sale surprise possibly. Which letter do you take this time George?

Players, please PM me your buzz codes and answers to the following questions no later than 6:15pm EST on Wednesday, October 4th. As always if you don't know an answer, say PASS. 1 Which U.S. President served the longest, having served for 4,422 days? 2 Which U.S. state's capital is Annapolis? 3 Which professional sport has had players such as Pete Sampras, Venus Williams and Billie Jean King? 4 Some people who have been married for seven years are said to have experienced having the 7-year, what?

Which U.S. President served the longest, having served for 4,422 days? Michael - Franklin D. Roosevelt. Right and you move into a tie with the champion at 40. Which U.S. state's capital is Annapolis? Michael - Maryland. And Michael takes over the lead going to 45. Which professional sport has had players such as Pete Sampras, Venus Williams and Billie Jean King? Michael again - Tennis. Three in a row now and he moves up to the 50 dollar mark. Some people who have been married for seven years are said to have experienced having the 7-year, what? George - Itch. And the champion pulls within 5 dollars of the lead. And speaking of marriage, the day before I was married, I went to my barber for a haircut and in his station was a sign that read as follows: "Marriage has a certain ring to it, there's the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and SUFFERING." Back with more after these words of interest!
