Minus 15 dollars OR lead total. And we always take the smaller of those 2, so in this case your lead total is just 10, so we'll take that off of your score. Back into a tie with Michael, and now you get to select a box. A one in three chance at $3,000 George. Which box do you want?

Let us see if that logic will be worth $3,000 in instant cash to you George. In box #2 today is your cash prize of... Well 500 bucks anyway. Twice as much as you won yesterday. Had this been your third time playing... On tomorrow's "$ALE", the Instant Cash will grow to $3,500. Meantime, we will take a time out here to help grow our funds, and complete this fine match between three very smart players, right after these words of interest.

(intro music to fade in) We are back, and returning champion George Cluster has $50, challenger Michael Koontz has $50 and challenger Kevin Kolsen is at $35. Kolsen, Koontz & Cluster, sounds like it could be a law firm or an accounting firm! Gentlemen, we'll play 3 more questions, followed by one final FAME GAME where a 10, 15 and 25 dollar money cards will be up for grabs. George, as champion, will automatically get to play in our final Head To Head Super Seven speed round against only Kevin or Michael, whichever player is in the lead after that last Fame Game, the other player we'll have to sadly say good-bye to. Players, your answers and buzz codes need to be PMed to me no later than 6:35am EST on Monday, October 9th. As always, if you're unsure of an answer, you can always say PASS, as if you're first to buzz in and are wrong, it will cost you $5. Here are the next three questions gentlemen... 1 Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and… what? 2 What famous stringed toy made by Duncan allows you to do a trick such as "Walking the dog"? 3 According to the old adage inspired during The Great Depression, what coin completes the question "Brother can you spare a…"?

1 Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and… what? Kevin - Wise. Correct and Kevin goes to 40. 2 What famous stringed toy made by Duncan allows you to do a trick such as "Walking the dog"? George - Yo-Yo Right, and the champion now takes a 5 dollar lead. 3 According to the old adage inspired during The Great Depression, what coin completes the question "Brother can you spare a…"? Michael - Dime. Right, and you get 50 dimes more for that, and pull back into a lead again with George at 55. (DING DONG) And that sound signifies our last Fame Game. Kevin, not only are you going to need to get control of that Fame Game board to stay alive in this match, but you're going to also need to find that $15 money card to stay alive, or the $25 money card to move on against George. Very important Fame Game here. Looking this time for an Annual Event players. 12 letters in this puzzle, so please PM to me your bid as to how few letters you will need, and also include a buzz code in the event two or more of you should tie with the low bid. Failure to do so will cause you to ring in later. Here is the puzzle: Minimum bid can be 0, maximum bid 11.

Your solution is needed no later than 1:05pm EST on Monday, October 9th. If you miss the deadline or give an incorrect solution, Kevin will get to see all but one letter of the puzzle.

Moving onto the Speed Round regardless. Behind the $9 we have... TEN DOLLARS!!!!! (fanfare) And with that, Michael goes into the lead by $10 over George. Two bits of business to finish up with before we play that Speed Round. First, let's see where the 15 and 25 dollar money cards were today... They were behind the... 5 and 6 (fanfare) (Departing contestant music) And with that, we must say so long to you Kevin. Didn't pick up anything along the way. You had all of the answers, just a matter of perhaps some lower Fame Game puzzle bids and being a tad bit faster on the draw when ringing in. We will however multiply the 40 in front of you by $25, so you'll be going home with $1,000 in cash, along with some very nice consolation prizes, courtesy of $ale of the Century. A nice round of applause for Kevin Kolsen! And now the time has come for our Speed Round, we call this the "Super Seven" round because it's 7 questions in total, $50 in total up for grabs. The first two questions are worth $5, then each question after is worth $1 more all the way up to the 7th and final question which is worth $10. The player in the lead after that last question will be the champ and play the Winner's Board for a nice grand prize, and get to come back on our next program as well. $5 for this first question, then we'll go on from there. Players, I will post all 7 questions at this time. Please PM to me your buzz codes and answers no later than 2:00pm EST on Monday, October 9th. As always, if you do not know an answer or are unsure, you can always say PASS, because if you guess and are wrong, the value of the question will be subtracted from your total. Michael is at 65, George is at 55, and here come your Super Seven Speed Round questions, now! 1 - $5 According to the nursery rhyme, what kind of animal followed Mary to school one day? 2 - $5 What bird name is also the name of a Roman Catholic clergyman? 3 - $6 Peter Parker was the secret identity of which comic book super hero? 4 - $7 Which ocean borders the state of California? 5 - $8 If you were visiting Hawaii's state capital, what city would you be visiting? 6 - $9 What sign of punctuation is used for the Chance spaces on a Monopoly board? 7 - $10 What holiday occurs in America every February 2nd?

(consolation music) A very strong Speed Round getting in on 6 out of 7 of those questions! A very strong finish for a fine champion. George in a moment, we'll be headed back to the Winner's Board again, however first we must say goodbye to Michael Koontz. Michael, you played very well indeed, that strong finish in this speed round was what ended it for you. You are not leaving empty handed by any means though... You won $600 worth of cookware plus $500 in cash for a Sale Surprise. You won a Tool Set from our Fame Game board worth $437. On top of that, we'll pay you $25 for each dollar you scored in this match, which was 71, so that's another $1,775 in cash. You are leaving us today with a nice total of $3,312 in cash and prizes, $2,275 of that in cash alone! But the day belongs again to George...so champ let's head back to the Winner's Board! ($ale 1989 win theme) George on our last show, you won the Jet Ski, so that's now off the board. Nine more major prizes up there, one of which you're going to win in the next few moments. Could be a spa, a living room, a trip to Rio, a lovely Diamond Ring, we have Groceries for a Year on the board, which is a $7,800 prize, there's $10,000, $15,000 and $25,000 in cash and a new 2024 Mustang all up for grabs on that board. The first prize you match will be yours to purchase today for just $99, the amount of your match win. George, please select a number.

The car was there. So that is out of play now as there's only one Car card on the board, and you can only win that if you choose it after you pick a WIN card. Try again.
