Ironic, I’m nowhere near the retirement age yet I’m announcing my retirement .
But yes, the time has come. I’ve been wrestling with this for almost a month now, and came to a final decision. It’s been a wonderful 2 and a half years. As stated in our Net Game Awards, I joined here when I was finishing my sophomore year of high school, and know I’m almost halfway through my freshman year of college, and it’s for that reason, and many others, that I must step away from here.
You guys have been my inspiration on here, you guys do marvelous stuff on the boards and recreate game shows in a phenomenal way, it’s inspiring coming on here every day and just seeing what you guys can do. You guys have been my pride and joy all these years, supporting my many wacky ideas and concepts, allowing me to step foot onto your different game shows, and allowing me to have as much fun as you all have had.
I’ve messaged some of you already expressing my most heartfelt thanks. Bill McDee, Tony Lane, Kevin Kolsen, Doug Morris, Michael Koontz, and countless others, you guys have supported me since day 1, literally, and for day God-knows-what, the fact that y’all are still here is amazing to me.
I want to finish every specific episode for the shows I’m hosting now, finish my contestant duties, and of course host The Price is Right: A Night for Barker, and I think I should be through by Halloween.
I want my shows to keep going, however, especially The Price is Right, as it’s a “seasons” show, and having the show be cancelled at the halfway mark wouldn’t be fair to the show itself, so I’d like for it to continue if possible. PM me for info about that show, or any other show for that matter, if you decide to pick it up. My only request is that you would NOT house these shows under Mannio Entertainment Productions, as I want to make that an actual company in the future, and also out of respect for the person who’s name I based the title of the company off of.
Again, I’ve made so many wonderful memories here. 2 and a half years and 3 net game awards is amazing in and of itself. If I never do another thing, I’ve met some of the greatest people of this world. I thank you guys so very much, and I’ll still be on after I leave, just not as often as I’ve been doing. Also, be ready to hear this five more times after each current episode of my series’s
Thank you so very much,
Immanuel
P.S. Look out for that talk-variety show of mine in the near future!
