Has anyone ever hosted a TV lottery game here before?

I haven't. But it seems like others have hosted their versions of the Ohio Lottery's "Cash Explosion Double Play".
I lived in Ohio when the show started as a game where players just drew cards to move up and down a game board. #dull
Game got more entertaining when it when to the PYL-esque Double Play board with a SCSD-esque championship game about a year or two later.

The Michigan game Fame & Fortune caught my eye today.
It bears some resemblance to Ohio's first version of CE.
If only our state of Mississippi would have a lottery game show. It would give the Lucky Buck mascot a little added exposure. (For those outside of Mississippi: www.instagram.com/moncriefdavid/ His work as Lucky Buck appears early as of this writing.)

This is spooky as just last weekend I was watching Powerball Instant Millionaire hosted by Todd Newton and that Ohio Double Play vid was suggested by youtube and I watched it and thought that might make for an interesting net game.

I remember BigJon had a really fun Powerball Instant Millionaire game online. I'd play it all the time when I had it. That'd be a fun idea for a game on here.
I've lived in California all my life and I remember The Big Spin in its final days with Pat Finn and Maiquel Alejo. Then there was Make Me a Millionaire with Mark L. Wahlberg. But that didn't last very long.

What's strange about it, you might find a lot of the Illinois shows on YouTube but only one Michigan show and there's not even a Wikipedia page on it. I wouldn't know where else to research.

True stories... \ I remember first hearing about the upcoming debut of Ohio's "Cash Explosion" during a news segment on WYMJ-FM Majic 104 (notice the intentional misspelling) in Dayton. \ Sometime weeks into the "Double Play" format, the randomizer for the semi-final games went down. So the powers-that-be (auditors? producers? likely both) decided when a player got control of the board, the player would call out a column (D, O, U, B, L, or E) and then a row (P, L, A, or Y). (If you're unfamiliar with the "Double Play" format, Wikipedia and Fandom can clue you in. Further, TransGamerGirl on YouTube has plenty of shows from those days.) \ While I don't necessarily care for the current third version of CE, I do have to say it was a blessing in disguise when it debuted in 2019 -- before the pandemic. ...if I get a chance to host CEDP, I'll take it. But if someone else at NGC hosts, please let this former Ohioan know.
