Five years after the second run of our show ended, we're back for the third time! This episode will be based off Louie Anderson's debut season, with some tweaks to accommodate the daytime run. These include:
Fast Money goes back to being played for $5,000.
At face-off, the winner will once again have a choice of playing the question or passing it to their opponent.
There will be no winning goal for Fast Money.
The second and third rounds are now in the same segment.
The Double round has been eliminated, so we will play three Singles and a Triple.
In the Triple round, the controlling family is allowed only one strike.
The board will display up to six answers in the Triple round, as its indicator will be shown at the bottom.
Music now plays for all rounds being won, and when returning from commercials.
The Tims are our current defending champions, with $7,000 from their first game. I need them and three new players to join me for this new beginning!

Game on! (1999 FF Intro) ERIN HARRIS: Today on Family Feud: From Los Angeles, California, they're all that and a pack of Slim Jims; let's meet the Tims family!
And from Long Island, New York, they're the family with the most, and they're the one and only Kolsens!(1999 FF Theme) You're about to see these two teams battle it out for $5,000 in cash, because it's time to play the Family Feud! Now here's the star of our show, Bill Skinner!Thank you very much, Erin Harris! Welcome to another installment of Family Feud: Seasons, and look at this brand, spanking new studio! And now we're on NBC's daytime schedule, so be sure to check us out after Wheel of Fortune. As the old slogan goes, we're proud as a peacock! Anyways, let's get to the game: We're now playing like they would've done in 2000, and that puts us in the first season under the late, great Louie Anderson as host. This one features the Tims, our returning champions with $7,000 under their belt; good to have you back, guys. And on the other side, we have the Kolsens, who are seeking to take them down; good luck to you as well. Immanuel and Kevin, let's play the Feud! (1999 FF Face-Off Cue) Since this is daytime, the family that wins the game will have a shot at $5,000 in Fast Money! Here we go with the first question; we surveyed 100 people, and the top eight answers are on the board, and of course, what you want to do is find the most popular answer. In honor of our new home at NBC, this is what we asked them: Name someone you associate most with the Tonight Show.

Show me Johnny Carson! clang! It's the Number 1 answer, so you will have a choice of passing or playing. What's your pleasure?

So the Kolsens will play, but Immanuel, we may come back to you later on, so think of some answers if it does come to that. George, can you name someone else you associate most with the Tonight Show?

Jay Leno.

I think he'd be high in the survey, because a lot of him remember watching him on the Tonight Show not so long ago. Show me Jay Leno! clang!Right up there at Number 2! Chris, who else do you think is on the board?

Well,...how about the network: NBC

Sure, that's the network we're on now. Let me see... (hums jingle) ...NBC! (strike buzzer) Although it's not a bad guess, unfortunately you just picked up your first strike. Three of those, and the Tims will go for the steal. Kevin, let's hear another answer from you.

The current guy: Jimmy Fallon.

Of course we can't forget the one who is on now, although I think he was still doing Saturday Night live in 2000. Anyhoo...show me Jimmy Fallon! clang! So that makes the three most recent guys in the Top 3! Now it's going to get a little tougher, George. Who do you have?

Ed McMahon.

As a kid, I remember him saying "Here's Johnny!" So I think it's a great answer. Show me Ed McMahon! clang!Got one half of the board complete, now let's figure out the other half. What do you say, Chris?

Uh,...Doc Severson, the orchestra leader under Carson?

Post by Bill Skinner on Sept 27, 2023 12:33:45 GMT -5
Yeah, I think that's a great answer. Show me Doc Severinson! clang!Down at the bottom, with 3. So once again, it's back to you, Kevin. Let's see if you can keep it going.

I'll go with the short-lived one: Conan O'Brien.

How quickly we forget that guy, and the way this network did him wrong, which led to him defecting to cable. Maybe he could be up there. Show me Conan! (strike buzzer) Maybe it was a good thing he is not up there, but that also means you just picked up your third strike. George, it's now up to you to keep it going, because if you don't get another answer on the board, the Tims over there will go for the steal. What is your answer now?
