The "Acey Deucey" cards and the "Second Chance" cards that previously appeared on the game board have been retired.
POT LIMIT
Rules Revision for Episode 9
The player is presented a deck of 56 playing cards to cut.
It's a standard deck of 52 cards plus 4 Jokers mixed in.
The player will be asked to cut the cards by selecting a number
higher than 0 but lower than 56.
A maximum of seven hands are played, one at a time.
The player will start with $300 of new money to wager at Level 1.
A maximum of three hands will be played on Level 1.
The game board consists of 13 numbers now (previously it was 14).
The cards 2 through Ace appear on the board, and each one
appears only once.
Even if an Ace and a 2 are drawn, the player's top card from his/her deck will still be dealt out
to make it official.
The cards on the board are reshuffled before the start of each
new Pot Limit hand.
The number of picks (3 to 5) from the game board for each of the first
six hands of play will now be pre-determined during the front game.
After a high and low card split is established, the player will
make a wager trying to predict if the top card from his/her
56 card deck will fit the split.
Minimum bets are $50 and bets must be made in $50 increments
during the first two levels of play.
After three hands are played on Level 1, or if the player should bust
anywhere during Level 1, they will receive an additional $600 of betting
money and play a maximum of three more hands on Level 2.
For the final level of play, the last hand, the "Major Wager",
the player is given another $1,000 of betting money
and is required to bet at least half of his total winnings.
The player may wager in increments of $25 during this hand only.
The Major Wager always has 4 picks from the game board.
During the first six hands of play, a tie (a.k.a. a "push") will win the
wager for the contestant.
During the final hand, the Major Wager, a tie will be a push, meaning
the player will neither win nor lose his/her wager, unless the final card
dealt in the center of the split is an Ace or a 2.
If that happens, the player ends up losing his/her wager.
Players are given 3 Bonus Draw tokens at the start of the game.
They may use only 1 Bonus Draw token per hand.
Players may add 1 or 2 more Bonus Draw tokens by selecting 1 of the 4
corner suits on the game board at the start of the Pot Limit Round.
Two suits contain a sad face (0 added Bonus Draws), one suit will be
hiding 1 Bonus Draw token, and one suit will be hiding 2.
During any hand, if a Joker is dealt up on the split board, the player's
pot limit will be doubled, regardless of what the player's wager is.
If during the Major Wager hand a Joker is dealt up, in addition to the
player's pot limit being doubled, they will also win a bonus jackpot
which starts at $25,000 and grows by $1,000 per episode until it is won.
