A few changes I plan on implementing for episode 9.
First, I am no longer going to have insurance markers available during the front game.
Second, I am going to incorporate a "Sneak Peek" rule for myself. Allow me to explain.
If for example one player has a King, the other player has a 4, and the center card, the shared/common card is a 9:
K _ 9 _ 4
If the next card were to be for example a 10, Jack, Queen or King, this would be a "no win" situation for the player on the right, and a "no lose" situation for the player on the left.
So if I discover that the card that will decide the hand fits a situation like this, I will forego doing a High Card toss-up to save time and to move the program along.
The only exception will be during the opening hand, since a $500 bonus is up for grabs if the first player's turn turns up the Ace on his/her first pick, which did happen in episode 8.
Third, in the unlikely event that either player gets 3 of a kind during a hand, the value of that hand will be tripled.
Also, I am doing a poll question here and would appreciate feedback from past players, current players, and viewers of the game.
Appreciatively,
Bill

Here's a sample of a possible replacement for the High Card toss-up...
