Immanuel made a very good point in a recent thread about why he liked the Bullseye Round of the Feud, as it added a bigger variety of Fast Money jackpots for families to play for, and of course giving families a chance to win more money is a nice thing.
My attitude about Bullseye was it took away from the meat and potatoes of the actual game itself. Also, it seemed a shame to waste 5 survey questions per day for just 1 measly answer, and I guess technically 10 per day if it was an hour long Feud.
My proposed ideas are as follows:
Each family starts out with $5,000 (or $10,000) or $X in their bank, which is the least amount they can play for in the Fast Money bonus round.
Rather than having a Bullseye round, have the first four questions during the opening face off of the actual Feud itself serve the purpose instead.
So regardless of how many answers are on the board, if either player at the face-off podium comes up with the number one answer, that would deposit money into their family's Fast Money bank.
So for the first question, it would be $1,000, $2,000 for question 2, $3,000 for question 3, and $4,000 for question 4, for the potential to have one family's Fast Money bank grow by as much as $10,000 more.
If a 5th Feud question is played, no "Bullseye" money would be available. It would only be during the first 4 questions.
Also I always wished the show had implemented a special bonus, say $1,000 if one family was able to sweep the entire board without losing control. This would only apply if one family got all the answers off the board. If one answer was revealed by the other family during the face off, the $1,000 bonus would be out of play. Perhaps up it to $2,000 or $2,500 if one family sweeps the board without getting any strikes against them.
The only thing problematic about this idea is if you have a survey question with only 3 or 4 answers (usually during later rounds).
