Hmm okay. I would have thought you'd place it in the middle to give Matt a very narrow split of a 10 to an 8. Let's see how this plays out though, the 10 is yours and the common card you will both share is: A Queen. So a slightly wider split for Matt than for you George. Time for a High Card toss-up Please select a pair of remaining boxes George and in the order in which you'd like them to be revealed. If your first pick is either the King or the 3, that will mean you'll keep control of the deck automatically.

It's a King, you keep control George. The control remains with you George. Do you want to keep the next card and hope it's another 10, or a Jack, or another Queen, or pass it and hope that it won't fit between Matt's 8 to Queen split?

Let's see if Matt ties up the match here, or if George wins his third consecutive match. Matt, the card you were passed is a... FIT! A Jack wins you this game! WOW! (win cue) www.dougmorris.net/chain/sfxding.mp3George I know that had to hurt because that Jack would have fit in your hand as well. Well here we are now, tied one game each. Time for our final game, just one hand to decide it. No money for the puzzle but the winner of this hand will get $500 and take a trip to the Pot Limit end game. This time I need an EIGHT letter word, starting with P to connect the split: THINK with IDENTIFICATION tpirepguide.com/qwizx/gssfx/usa/be-buzzer.wavGeorge, you are in first and have until 7:30pm EST on Friday, August 18th to post your answer.

No I'm sorry, and as there's no money at stake, Matt, you win control of the deck automatically without guessing. The word we needed was POSITIVE, as in Think Positive for optimists, and Positive Identification which people need at times for banking or other purposes. Matt, you control the deck and this is the same deck that was used in Game 2, so if you can remember what cards have already come out, that may help factor into your decision making. First card for this pivotal hand: A 3. Do you want that, or place it in the center, or pass it down to George?

Oh wow! I must say I am shocked by that. Let's see what the common card is: A 5. Let's see how it plays out. Our final High Card toss-up not only for this game but for our show, starting with episode 9 we're going to vary this game a bit...but for now... Matt I need you to select a pair of boxes and in the order in which you would like them to be revealed. If your first pick is either a 9 or a 3, you'll retain control of the deck automatically. Which boxes do you choose Matt?

Box 5 has... The 9, that's the highest possible card Matt so you retain control automatically. Incidentally box #9 had the Bonus Draw token for this board. Matt, you've left yourself quite a dilemma I'm afraid by passing that Ace over to George earlier. If you keep the top card, it has to be another 3, a 4, or another 5 in order to win. If you pass, only a 2, 3 or 4 will bust George's hand. Your decision Matt, do you keep the next card and hope it will fit in your tight split, or pass to George and hope that it will perhaps bust his hand?

Matt is hoping this card will be a 4, 3 or 2. George is hoping it won't be. For the game and the match this card is a... FIT! televisiontunes.com/Body_Language.htmlwww.dougmorris.net/chain/sfxding.mp3George, you emerged today's winner once again. $1,925 more and your third trip to the Pot Limit round shortly. Well Matt, you had some decisions you made that were kind of out of the box thinking, and I'm sorry that they didn't quite pan out for you as you probably had hoped. Nevertheless, you're taking home $1,875 in cash plus a bevy of lovely parting gifts as well. Please send our regards to Council Bluffs Iowa! A nice round of applause for Matt Ringgenberg... When we return, George will play again for the really big money, well over $80,000 potentially, when Split Decision continues!

(fade into applause) Thank you folks! It's time once again for our Pot Limit end game. George, we've made some changes to it, and I will explain it to you step by step when we come to each particular step. The first step is the same. Witney has a deck of 56 playing cards. It is a standard deck of 52 cards plus we have added in a total of four Jokers. At this time please cut this deck George by selecting a number higher than 0 but lower than 56.

It had to be asked of course. Witney will now wheel this deck of cards over to the "Split" board. The cards from the top of that deck you cut will determine whether you win or lose a hand. Some things are still the same with our Pot Limit end game. You will still play a maximum of 7 hands, one at a time. In a moment we will stake you to $300 to begin betting with. Minimum bets during the first six hands of play are $50, and you must bet in increments of $50 during the first six hands of play. After you complete the first level of play, the first three hands, before we start hand #4, we'll add another $600 of betting money into your bank. And when we get to the top level, the final hand, that's the Major Wager, and there you must risk at least half of your dollars at that time. There is one other rule with that final hand which I will explain to you once we play it. Our game board has 14 numbers on it. Concealed behind 13 of them are the cards 2 through Ace, each one is there, each one is there only once, and at the start of each hand, they will be reshuffled. On the first level of play, one card is an "Acey-Deucey" card. If you uncover that card, then your split will automatically be Ace high Deuce low. During the first two levels of game play George, you now will determine how many picks you will get to make by selecting any one of the 4 suit boxes on our board. One has a "3", two of them house a "4" and one says "5". That is how we will determine the number of picks you will get to make from our game board to try to establish your split. To further assist you, there are 3 Bonus Draw tokens that we give to you. No additional tokens were banked during the match unfortunately. If after you make all of your board selections you find that you want to try to improve your split, you may use one and only one Bonus Draw token per hand to try to do so. I am now going to channel my inner Bruce Forsythe and remind you that there are NO insurance markers during this Pot Limit round. Audience, how many insurance markers are there in this round? Audience (in unison) "NONE!". In your deck of cards, as I mentioned, we have 4 Jokers. Any time a Joker turns up on your board, regardless of your wager amount, we will automatically double your pot limit amount! And should one of those Jokers turn up during the Major Wager hand, not only will your pot limit be doubled, but you will also win an additional progressive jackpot. It starts at $25,000 and it grows by $1,000 per show until it is claimed. This is our 8th show and thus far nobody has won it, therefore today, that Joker Jackpot is worth: (CLANG) $32,000!!! Making the potential value for this entire round $82,000! Okay George, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. If not, I'll ask you to select one of the suits on the board to determine how many picks you'll get for this first hand of play.

Just 3 picks this first hand. You may take a 4th if you need a bonus draw token, but select three numbers first and let's see what kind of a split you establish George.

Let us see what we have there... vocaroo.com/5X9WWrWEAhQOh you found that Acey-Deucey card! And although it is an automatic winner because we will pay even when there is a push situation, the rules require we must make it official by dealing up a card from your deck. A 5 is indeed a fit! That doubles your pot to $600 as you obviously would have wagered it all since it was a no lose situation there. During the first 6 hands of play, a push now equals a win, it is only the Major Wager where things will change slightly. For now, you have $600, all 3 of your Bonus Draw tokens still in tact too. Please select a suit George.

\ A 3, an 8, a 4 and a 5, not the greatest split by far with just an 8 high and a 3 low as it stands. You can use one bonus draw here if you wish to try to improve it. 8 of the 10 remaining cards will improve that split, only 2 will not. Do you wish to use a bonus draw George?

A Jack, so a bit of an improvement. So your split this time is a Jack high and a 3 low. An Ace, a King, a Queen and a deuce would lose for you. So 9 cards plus a Joker will win for you George. How much of your $600 do you want to wager that your next card will fit that split?
