I'm currently involved with several shows, but as soon as I finish with one of them, I plan to try a version of Pyramid since nobody is playing one at the moment. This will play out just like the regular shows from the Dick Clark era with these differences:
- In addition to the regular "7-11" and "Mystery 7" bonuses, there will be 6 other bonuses that might come up and the computer will pick one at random during each regular round.
- As was the case back then, the "7-11" bonus will be worth $1,100 however the "Mystery 7" will pay off $7,000 for getting 7 out of 7.
- On this show, bonus money is included in the final tally to determine which contestant returns on the next show.
- Each correct answer during regular play is worth $50 and any "cuckoo" mistakes made by the team deducts $50 from their score.
- A new segment called "Winner's Wheel" will be introduced where just before entering the "Winner's Circle", the contestant spins a wheel to determine how much they will play for. The segments on the wheel will range from multiple spaces valued at $10,000 all the way up to one space valued at $1,000,000. This means, although very unlikely, it is possible that we could give away more than $2,000,000 on a single episode.
- Game timing will be as follows: 1 second to simulate the clue giver reading and processing the clue in his mind, 1 second minimum for the clue receiver to respond, 1 additional second for every 3 words "spoken" between the clue giver and receiver, 1 additional second if the clue is passed.
- During regular play, a clue cannot be answered once passed, however in the Winner's Circle, the clue giver has full control and can return to any passed categories at any time so long as there is time remaining on the clock.
- As usual, it is a 30-second clock with 7 clues during the regular rounds and a 60-second clock with 6 categories to solve in the Winner's Circle.
