By popular demand...we're gonna do...
The Family Feud! Yes, after a year-long hiatus (2 years if you count my original version), I really wanna bring this show back and put it on CBS Daytime in accordance to it's 35th anniversary, and I'm glad you all agree (well...hopefully).
BUT! This version's gonna be significantly different, as I am using the bullseye format, as you can tell by the gif above, as it's my favorite element on the show, but I'm doing it differently:
Very quick: 3 questions long
Bank starts at $10,000
1st question: $500
2nd question: $1,500
3rd question: $3,000
Up to $15,000 can be won
Instead of players giving a blind guess, I'm thinking of giving the top 3 answers to the survey, and the players have to guess which of the three is the top answer, similar to Top Three that I did in the original.
300 points wins the game, and if 300 isn't reached after 4 questions, we'll play sudden death, where the top answer bumps that family's score to 300 points and they win the game. However, this segment has no multiple choice.
Any clean sweep, at any point, awards a $500 bonus that doesn't affect a family's score.
Finally, instead of this being a series where every show has "normal" civilian players and no theme, every show is gonna be themed around something. I'm thinking of these possibilities:
Battle of the NGC network stars (CBS, NBC, ABC, etc. Kind of straight forward, the teams are consisted of Networks)
A Team VS. Z Team/Alphabet championship (A Team has 3 players whose real first name starts in the first half of the alphabet, Z Team has 3 players whose real first name starts in the latter half of the alphabet)
Star Struck (1 celebrity plays with 2 civilian contestants)
Hawaiian Getaway (1 week in Hawaii at stake, plus any money from the Bankroll game)
Daytime Disney Special (Questions are Disney themed)
NGC Favorites (6 celebrities play for charity)
For the love of Money (Big Money show, bullseye amounts double for up to $30,000)
Rep your college (East coast vs. West Coast colleges)
Finally, each show is staggered, meaning that a new episode won't start once a previous one finishes, like normal. Rather, these are daytime specials done every so often.
So there's that. I wanna start this kind of soon, either for the fall or...if one of my Channel 1 shows gets cancelled...can start either later this month or early August. So...if y'all want a slot, feel free to let me know, and if I have more info I'll let you know!
