A 7, a 2, a 3 and an 8. Not a very big split there, 8 high, 2 low. Do you want to try another bonus draw here George?

9, 8, 2 and a big King! Dare one assume you wish to keep that split George? And if so, dare one assume you're going to bet it all once again?

OH BOY!!!!!!!!!!! (Wild cheering & applause) George! You have an Ace high, 2 low split by virtue of selecting the Acey Deucey card. You have $25,000. You must wager at least half or $12,500. You can bet more. I would remind you as the chart says, if the card that turns up from your deck is an Ace or a 2, it will LOSE your wager for you. I would also remind you that should you lose on the first card dealt in this final hand, you may get a second chance. So with all of that said, what is your Major Wager George?

All $25,000.

(The crowd is screaming in support) Yeah, sure, it isn't YOUR $25,000 on the line! All of it. Oh have mercy please... I'm glad I'm already sitting down. For $50,000.........does this card fit the split? And if it's a Joker, you'll win $31,000 on top of everything else! It is.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Screams of horrific disbelief from the crowd) But it's not over yet! George, behind 2 of these 4 suits is a "Second Chance" card. If you can find it, you'll get one last card dealt to you. If you find a frown, you're going to bust. Where are one of those 2 second chance cards George? Select a suit please.

Oh Diamonds please! They are a girl's best friend, but might they become George's? YES!!!!!!!!! (More wild cheering & applause) Oh my my! Now, one more time, for $50,000 or nothing.........does the next card fit? (More screams of utter disappointment and disbelief) ((Falling off of my chair flat onto the floor)) Back to back Aces, at THE WORST possible time! Oh George! I am beyond sorry that this happened like this. But listen, the good news is, you're still the champ, you have $9,050 in winnings, and you'll be back on tomorrow's show to try to win your third match and hopefully get vengeance with these cards. That just is beyond belief! (in a heartfelt disappointed tone) We'll be back to wrap things up, more like bandage things up...after this.

Yes, from the July 13th announcements: Yes, I'm sorry to say, as per my July 13th update, the insurance markers no longer carry over into the Pot Limit round. And just for kicks George, I looked at the next card in the deck, and would you believe it was a 2 of Clubs! So that still would have lost! Ugh...

No apology necessary. It was a good question to ask. I'm still tinkering with the format and there have been many changes made.

(fade into light applause) As you just witnessed, George had a double heartbreak at the Pot Limit end game, getting back to back Aces which cost him $25,000 and to bust. During the break, George mentioned that he thought he had an insurance marker. I looked over the updated rules that I placed in the announcements section and the last line of that post did indeed indicate that Insurance Markers from the front game would no longer carry over into the Pot Limit round. That said, we reviewed the tape, and I neglected to make mention of this rule change as we begun playing this round. So because of the fact that it was a partial oversight on George's part, and a partial oversight on my part for not having reiterated this rule change, and in the interest of fairness, we are going to award George with a $25,000 win! (Cheering & applause) Had George known that there was no "safety net" by virtue of that insurance marker, he might have wagered differently. So to that end, I felt the best thing was to credit you George with a $25,000 win! And this brings your 2 day total all the way up to $34,050! So until we next meet, this is Bill McDee hoping that all of your decisions are great ones! Ciao for now!
