I have decided to implement some changes for Split Decision's end game of Pot Limit.
Most of these changes are to favor the contestant and hopefully have some bigger payouts along the way.
First, from now on any card during the first SIX hands of play (previously was just the first THREE hands) that tie either card in the split will be a winner.
Second, for the 7th and final hand, the Major Wager, a tie will equal a push instead of a loss with a couple of exceptions...
If the final card (center card) turns up to be either an Ace or a Deuce (2), the player will still lose their wager.
I did this so that there will still exist the potential for some element of suspense.
Next, I am adding two additional Jokers into the player's deck, for a total of 4 Jokers, thus making the deck a 56 card deck now.
Whenever a Joker turns up, the player's bank total will automatically double, regardless of what their wager is. And as before if a Joker turns up during the Major Wager, the Joker's Jackpot, which is now at $31,000, will also be won.
Next, during the first 3 hands of play, the player will now get FIVE picks instead of 4.
During the last 4 hands of play the player will get FOUR picks instead of 3.
As before, if a player has Bonus Draw tokens, they can use one per hand.
Lastly, the Second Chance cards on the board will still be in play.
As before, I will start with 2 of the 4 suits concealing them and the other 2 suits with a frown.
If however, a player finds a SECOND CHANCE card on his FIRST try, then one of the frowns will be replaced with another SECOND CHANCE card.
Since most ties will now be winners in this bonus game, the insurance markers will no longer carry over into the Pot Limit round and will only be available to be used during the front game.
