Very well. All deadlines are 48 hours and we will begin the show right now. (cue intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you, Rich. And thank you everybody. (Theme cuts out) Welcome once again to High Rollers everyone. If you want excitement, you've come to the right place as our contestants try to win thousands of dollars worth of cash and prizes by rolling the die that you see on the table in front of me. And whoever is lucky enough to win two out of three will play for $25,000 in our Big Numbers round. Now, before we introduce our players, I would like to inform everyone that this is the last week of our first season here on High Rollers. And what that means, ladies and gentlemen, is that at the end of the week, the two players that have earned the highest cash and prize totals throughout the season will compete against each other for the chance to play for $100,000 in the Big Numbers. So this is going to be an exciting week here on High Rollers. All right, with that out of the way, let's meet today's players. Rich, who's going for the big bucks today? Rich: Player number one is our returning champion James Greek. James has a two day total of $32,296 cash and prizes. And challenging James today is Matt Riggenberg. Me: Those of you who have seen Matt on our program in the past know that Matt is a courtesy clerk from Iowa. Matt, any new developments in your life since the last time we had you on our show?

Well let's hope there will be something new for you soon. In the meantime, let's look at some of the prizes that you or James could take home with you today. Rich, what's in column one? Rich: In column one, a pair of cameras from Sony. Both cameras are 24.3MP cameras that come with 16-50mm lens. Retail value: $1,600. In column two, a trip to Florida. You and a friend will fly round trip coach from Los Angeles to West Palm Beach, Florida and then to Jupiter for a six night stay in a suite at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter. Daily $50 food credit is included. Total retail value: $7,305. And in column three, we have $10,000 in cold hard cash! Total value of the board in round one comes out to $18,905! Me: Pretty good amount for this game's board. Let's take a look at how the numbers line up for this first round.
5 7 4 8 3 9 2 6 1
And as you can see, there is no hot column this round. That does happen on our show sometimes, but hopefully we can still give away a prize or two. All right, I think it's time we get started on the questions. The first one is as follows. In what film does Jack Nicholson play a character named Randle Patrick "Mac" Murphy?

Right you are, James. A very good film, in fact. Okay James, go ahead and roll those dice.

Let's take the six off the board.
5 7 4 8 3 9 2 X 1
Moving on to the next question. In what city would you find a retro video game store called A&C Games?

And that would be the right answer. All numbers are still good, so roll those dice James

And here comes our next question. In what video game did Ryu Hayabusa make his first appearance?

Very good, Matt. Never played that game before, but I should probably try it out at some point. All right Matt, all numbers are still good so roll those dice.

It's a five. The only way to get rid of it is with the 3 and the 2, so let's take those two numbers away.
X 7 4 8 X 9 X X X
And that leaves four numbers left on the board as we go to our next question. What is the official language of Algeria?

Right. Now Matt, the following are still safe to roll: 4,7,8,9,11 and 12. Do you wish to roll the dice or pass them to James?

I'll pass them.

Very well. James, you need to roll one of the six numbers I just mentioned in order to stay alive. Good luck on this roll, James.

And it's a 2. (doubles sfx) However, since the 2 is no longer on the board, I can't give you any markers. However, I can give you another roll so try it again James.

We can certainly get rid of the eight from the board.
X 7 4 X X 9 X X X
(I hand James a marker) There's your marker for rolling double 4. And we'll also put the Sony cameras on your side of the prize board. Those will be yours if you win this game. Here's our next question right now. What currency is used in Algeria?

Correct! Now Matt, the good numbers that are left are 4,7,9 and 11. Do you want to roll the dice or pass them to James?
