As "Gold Rush" is a game going on currently, and to avoid any confusion, this is the Gold RUN! This is loosely based off of the 1980 pilot.  In lieu of a 60 second clock, there will be a count down from 8 to 0. This means a maximum of 8 questions will be played in order to try to make the side to side connection in gold, from left to right. Every block captured will be worth cash, but if the connection is made in 8 questions or less, a grand prize will be won. Hidden behind each of the 4 blocks on the right hand side are cash awards of $5,000, $7,500, $10,000 and $12,500. If a player sweeps and goes 5 for 5 with the questions, the cash award is doubled, so a potential to win $25,000. An incorrect answer, passing on a question, or if time expires (48 hours), a block will go up and the player must work his/her away around it. Who would like to try this? |
