Nels is the returning champion. We'll need one new challenger.
Two new elements have been added.
Element 1 is for the winner of each game. After a game is won, the player will "spin" a slot machine. The reels have various cash amounts that total anywhere from $250 up to $500.
Of course, if the winner gets 21 in any combination, they won't do the slot machine. Instead they will win the Any 21 Jackpot which starts at $750 and grows by $50 each game until won.
Element 2 is the selection of a dice total from the 36 numbered board, which also ties into the Roulette element of the game.
All 36 possible roll outcomes are still hidden on the board, but now it will be represented as a "Come out" roll like with the game of craps.
If a 2, 3, or 12 are selected, that is CRAPS, and the player who chooses it loses control of the next card to his/her opponent.
If a 7 or 11 are selected for the come out roll, that's an instant win for the player choosing it, and they automatically win control of the next card.
If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 are selected from the board, the player will then be asked if Alexis (the dealer & co-hostess) will roll that same number first before rolling a 7.
If the player believes she will roll the number first, that will be a "PASS" prediction. If they predict she will roll a 7 before rolling the other number first, that will be a "DON'T PASS" prediction.
I will be using random.org to simulate dice rolls when necessary. Any rolls that would not affect the outcome will not be included during the game.
It may sound more complicated than it is. I'll guide you along though.
Who would like to take on Nels in this upcoming episode?

I’m from Columbus, MS. I’m a housekeeper at my local hospital after leaving the ever hateful Dollar General after six years. I enjoy classic game shows, Star Trek, SEC Football and NASCAR.

Best wishes with your bowling, your cashiering, your bracelet making which sounds like a very relaxing hobby, and of course good luck here gaming with us again today too Nels. Bryan, as the challenger, you will have the honor of cutting the cards for today's match. We use one standard 52 card deck. The cards have been thoroughly shuffled under the ever watchful eye of our friends at NBC's Standards and Practices. Bryan please select any number higher than 0 but lower than 52. This will represent how deeply into the deck you've cut them. Meantime, one new added feature is determining the value for each game. Nels, while Bryan is cutting the cards. I'm going to ask you to push that red button on our slot machine. Each reel has various cash amounts that will total up anywhere from $250 to $500. This will be the least amount the winner of game 1 will win. Please simulate a spin Nels by selecting any number higher than 0 but lower than 7. Please do so for each of the three reels. You may repeat a digit twice or all 3 times if you wish.

And we get... $50... $75 and... $125. So $250 to the winner of game 1 of this match UNLESS either of you scores 21 exactly. Then you will instead win the Any 21 Jackpot which currently is worth... (clang) $750. We'll take a quick time out to earn some of that money. When we return, we'll reveal the first card in this first game of our best 2 out of 3 game match, when Las Vegas Gambit continues!

Let us begin game 1. We always start each game by revealing the first card. And the first card up for grabs today is... An itty bitty 2. Nels, the champion always gets to go first. Here's how we determine who will win control of that card. Here is our Roulette set. Also hidden behind each of these 36 numbers are the 36 possible dice roll outcomes. You will select a number and we will spin the roulette wheel. Should you pick a matching color, either red or black, you'll win $100, yours to keep no matter what. If the wheel lands on either zero or double zero, you'll win $500. If you pick the exact number, and that happened to Immanuel on our last show, it's $1,000! Please select any number Nels from 1 to 36.

Let's see... You chose 9 red, and it's 14 red! $100 for the right color. Let's see what the "come out" roll is behind 9... An 11! That's an instant win right there so Nels, you now are in control over the fate of that deuce. Do you wish to keep the 2 or pass it over to Bryan?

4 Black... The spin this time was 35 black so $100 for you if nothing else Bryan! Now let's see what the come out roll is behind #4... 7! That's an instant winner! Control of the next card is yours Bryan. Do you wish to keep it or give it away to Nels?

2 plus what Alexis? A five for a total of 7 thus far. The rules state a player may not elect to freeze until their score is above 11 and are in the lead. Back to Nels we go and back to the wheel we go. What number looks good this time Nels?

12 red... 16 red! three $100 wins in a row! Nice going! 200 now for you Nels Let's see the come out roll behind 12... A four. Okay very well, now then... Nels, in order to win control of the next card, you must correctly predict whether Alexis will roll a 4 first or a 7 first. If you believe she will roll a 4 BEFORE she rolls a 7, then you will say "PASS" for a pass bet. If you believe she will roll a SEVEN before she's able to roll a 4, then you will say "DON'T PASS". There are three ways to roll a 4, but six ways to roll a 7. Nels, do you say PASS or DON'T PASS?

Post by billmcdee on May 26, 2023 17:00:36 GMT -5
Any rolls other than 4 or 7 will be edited out as they would not affect the outcome. Nels says "DON'T PASS" meaning he believes a 7 will be rolled before a 4. Alexis, roll 'em please! Oh no she DID roll a 4 first! Sorry about that Nels. Bryan, this means the fate of the next card will be determined by you instead. Do you wish to keep the next card or give it away Bryan?

Or perhaps even an Ace. Alexis, please show us that next card. Ask and ye shall receive! You got a Jack, a total of 17. You now have the option to freeze or to continue playing. If you freeze, Nels must score 18 or better to win this first game. If you elect not to freeze Bryan, you will not have the option to do so again until you receive another card. What's your pleasure?
