Good luck to you, Kevin... and keep it up! Remember... we play the best 2 out of 3 rounds. The winner will get to play the Money Cards including a shot at winning a brand new automobile. *G2-T2 hovers all the way to center stage* We begin round 1 with our first question for our champion. *grabs card* Kevin... we've asked 100 30-somethings: ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?How many of them said they are?
Post by koopakid17 on May 10, 2023 21:54:13 GMT -5
Well, I am at that age, having just given up my night light. No, I kid.
Actually, that's a rational fear. If you walk around the streets late at night, you never know what's going to happen. I'll say 30 of them are afraid of the dark.

[DING]30 out of 100 say they are afraid of the dark. What do you think of that answer, Matt... higher or lower?
Post by mringgenberg on May 11, 2023 7:48:24 GMT -5
I don't think many people are at that age. I think it's lower.

Post by tmann3x on May 11, 2023 11:22:53 GMT -5
[DING]If it's lower, you'll play your cards. If not, Kevin will be playing his cards. And if anyone gets an answer on the nose will receive a $1,000 bonus. Kevin says 30 and Matt says it's lower. The actual number of 30-somethings say they are afraid of the dark is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]23. Matt is right... it is lower. The challenger will begin playing his card starting with... a 3! Once again, here's Tony.[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thanks, George. And welcome back to Card Sharks. For those of you tuned in, here's what the board looks like. So far, our challenger Matt has a one card advantage while our champion Kevin haven't touched his cards yet. Let's resume our first round with the next question. *grabs card* Matt... we've asked 100 college students: IN THE PAST MONTH, HAVE YOU PULLED AN ALL-NIGHTER?How many of them said they had pulled an all-nighter?

Post by mringgenberg on May 11, 2023 22:27:44 GMT -5
Them being college students, I think some tend to do so with studying for various exams. It's going to be in the middle. 64

Post by koopakid17 on May 12, 2023 16:51:14 GMT -5
I don’t think it’s as common as it used to be, because it’s not as effective as it seems. I’ll say lower.

[DING]I bet the folks at home watching this are playing along with this question. Let's find out about this answer. Matt says 64 and Kevin says it's lower. The actual number of college students say they had pulled an all-nighter is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]86. Not lower... it is higher. Matt... you have a 9 as your base card. Do you want to play on your middle card or change it?

Moving the freeze bar... Matt is just two cards away from winning the first round. Question 3 coming right up. *grabs card* Kevin, we've asked 100 dentists: DO YOU FLOSS?How many of them admitted they do floss?
Post by koopakid17 on May 14, 2023 19:40:47 GMT -5
They are dentists. They know what's best for their teeth. I'll say 90 of them floss.
