To add even more of a casino flavor to the game:
Now players will be betting on "PASS" or "DON'T PASS" with the dice. A correct decision earns control of the next card in the deck. An incorrect decision gives control to the other player.
Players will still select from the 36 numbered game board, tying in with the Roulette element of the game. Now however the dice totals will look like this:
If the player selects a dice total of 7 or 11 from the board, they will instantly win control of the next card.
If the player selects a 2, 3 or 12 from this board, that is CRAPS and they will lose control of the next card to their opponent.
This new game board will represent the "come out" roll for a craps game.
Should the player select any other dice total (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10), they will then have to decide whether Alexis (my hostess) will roll that number before she rolls a 7.
If the player believes she will roll the dice total before she rolls a 7, they will bet on PASS.
If the player believes she will roll a 7 before she rolls the dice total, they will select DON'T PASS.
For future reference:
There are 6 ways to roll a 7.
There are 5 ways to roll a 6 or an 8.
There are 4 ways to roll a 5 or a 9.
There are 3 ways to roll a 4 or a 10.
So the odds would be:
6 to 5 in rolling a seven before rolling either a 6 or an 8 first.
3 to 2 in rolling a seven before rolling either a 5 or a 9 first.
2 to 1 in rolling a seven before rolling either a 4 or a 10 first.
I will simulate dice rolls by Alexis but will always reveal right away whether she rolled the point number first or a 7 first, as all other rolls would not affect the outcome.
