While I am ready to start ep 5 of Split Decision, it's going to be delayed.
Last Friday I received some sad news about one of my closest cousins. He's okay health wise which is THE most important thing, but he's relocating from Pennington NJ to Atlanta GA by the end of May.
Receiving that news was quite a hard blow to my heart and soul. His mom and my mom were sisters, and we are so close in fact, that he was born just 4 days after me back in December 1966.
The news of this kind of made me feel like I lost my right arm.
In spite of that, and having had been on the tail end of this throat/sinus/resp bug, I was in a position to get the next ep started but then...
Our one year old hot water heater's pilot light blew out. It's the third time it has happened since we have owned it.
The previous two times I was able to relight the pilot light with no problem.
Last night, it would not relight. The plumbing company that sold it to us and installed it is due to call my wife this morning.
She and I are hoping against all hope that this will be a fairly easy fix, but we are not counting on it. Things like this for us seldom, if ever, go simply.
I am hoping once we get that back up and running again, I'll finally be able to get Split Decision going.
Until then, we're all going to need extra time for "showering". Namely heating up water on our stove, pouring it in basins, standing in the bathtub and washing that way, which is far more time consuming.
