Due to a combination of my having had a long and tiring week, my son being sick, me coming down with the same thing he has, and the threat of thunderstorms on Saturday from noon through 10pm, I'll not be on very much today or tomorrow more than likely.
Right now all 3 games I am hosting are at a natural point of being paused. I have to do wrap ups for Strike It Rich and Split Decision, and Las Vegas Gambit just concluded game 1 of a match.
Any more it seems, any time there are thunderstorms in the forecast, there is always a tornado watch for these parts. And every single time we get a tornado watch, it inevitably turns into a tornado warning.
Additionally, it seems any time we have storms that are ongoing or are severe, we end up losing power. So based on all that, coupled with the rather difficult week I have already been having, I am fully expecting there to be a tornado and/or us losing power again.
On April Fool's Day ironically enough, a tornado touched down in Newtown PA, extremely close to where we live. The town right down the road from where we live, Fallsington, sustained quite a bit of damage as well. Luckily for us, only were without power for 3 hours, it was restored fairly quickly.
Anyway, sorry to ramble on and if I am sharing too much. Just wanted to give my contestants and the hosts a heads up about my current situation.
