Number 5. Let's hope that's the winning number. (audience groans)(buzz)Lose half. Well -- half of zero dollars is still zero dollars. So all you lost was a pick. You've got one pick left. Please make it a good one.

Nah nah nah -- we were playing Red or Black -- not Gas Money. (scattered laughter from crowd) Only kidding. Let's open the rest of the board, please. The cash squares were 1, 4, and 6. The spoiler was at 3. Another big hand for a big winner -- Immanuel Tims! (audience cheers)
We're refurbishing another audience game basing on Pass The Buck -- but the PTB in Colombia, IIRC. In at least one foreign version, the second phase of the game is played on a nine-space board with the car symbol split in half a la our Money Game. We'll start it when it's ready.

Okay, newish audience game's ready. Easy As Pi started as a quickie game ("go higher/lower" than pi, model rolls one cube, right prediction wins, game over either way). We've now expanded it to be a pastiche of the Colombian version of Pass The Buck from that nation's version of TPiR. Behind these first six digits of pi, including the repeated 1, we've hidden two halves of a car (just like Colombia) as well as different amounts of cash. One digit hides a spoiler (serving as "lose everything" or "pierde todo", as they say in Colombia). Finding a spoiler loses everything and ends the game. Finding half a car awards $500 cash. So after uncovering cash (with or without half a car), the player may stop and keep the winning or risk it all for another pick. One pick is given for free. Three additional picks can be earned with correct calls of higher/lower than pi on each roll of one cube. Who wants to play?

George Cluster, welcome. You're going to play for this familiar prize. Tiffany: George, Hyundai had one to spare just for us. It's another zombie apocalypse vehicle! (FF car theme from TPiR plays; audience cheers)It's the same Hyundai Zombie Proof Survival Vehicle you saw earlier -- comes with a zombie plow with damage-inducing spikes -- as well as armored windows, a trunk full of weapons, spiked all terrain tires, CB radio, and much more. The zombie apocalypse vehicle still retails for $82,940. (audience cheers)Thanks, Tiffany. George, you'll have one shot to win that car. But you'll need at least two shots. Crew: TWO SHOTS! (audience laughs and applauds)Blessed are those who lift the spirits of a San Antonio Spurs fan. (scattered laughter from crowd) As I was saying, you'll need at least two shots to win. And you could get up to four shots... ...in a game we can Easy As Pi. Now, we've already spotted you one pick of the bonus board. You'll see that bonus board later. Right now, let's get you more picks. And here's how. Our dice girl will roll one of the dice a maximum of three times. Before each roll, you have to predict whether that roll will be higher or lower than 3.14159 -- and several more digits we don't have time for. For each correct roll, you earn another pick. The more picks you have, the better your chances of winning cash and that car. Right now, let's prepare for the first of three rolls. Will that first roll be higher or lower than pi?

Higher you say... (ding)...and we'll lock in that pick. Havana, we're looking for a 4, 5, or 6, please. (audience cheers as Havana rolls) (audience groans)(buzz)But we get a 3 instead. *Just* missed it. Okay, shake it off, George. Let's get ready for the next roll. Higher or lower than pi?

Trying higher again. (ding)Havana, let's try a 4, 5, or 6 again, please. (audience cheers as Havana rolls) (dings; audience applause)There we go! (ding)Two picks with one more roll to go, George. Higher or lower than pi?

Going lower to finish the rolls. (ding)Havana, we're looking for a 1, 2, or 3, please. (audience cheers as Havana rolls) (dings; audience applause)Lowest of the low -- a 1. (ding) Okay, three picks. Now, let's bring in the bonus board, please, Wally. (FF reveal sfx)Thanks, Wally. George, behind these chalkboards that make up the first six digits of pi, we've hidden cash awards plus two halves of a car symbol. We also have a mean ol' spoiler up there. Find the spoiler, the game ends and you lose everything you've won. By the way, for the two correct predictions you made in the rolls earlier, you did win $250 each time. So... (ding) ...you're already $500 to the good. (scattered applause) Now, you could stop and take the $500 -- or risk it and pick one of the digits in pi. (audience shouts suggestions)
(George, if you wish to play on, please select 3, "the first 1", 4, "the second 1", 5, or 9.)

(scattered cheers) Going for the gusto. Behind the first 1 we find... (dings; audience applause)...$2500. We add that to your previous $500. You're up to $3000, George. Would you like to stop here or pick another digit? (audience shouts suggestions)

Okay, we *had* plans to start a new game of Chain Reaction. Due to real world plans, Chain's been delayed by at least one week. I'd like to give Red or Black at least one more test drive after revising some artwork.
Who wants to try?

Nels, welcome to the dice table. We didn't know what to get you. So, you're playing for this. (last few seconds of FF76 theme plays; audience cheers) Tiffany: It's a chance to win $20,000 in cash.Twenty grand can be yours with a lucky pick in a game of Red or Black. The word "win" is hiding behind one of these eight numbered squares. Find that "win" and the money's your and we've already spotted you one pick. We'll give you a chance to earn three more picks. Havana, our dice girl, will be rolling our special Red or Black cube a maximum of three times. (Havana holds up cube) All of the odd-numbered sides are red. (flips to another side) That means all of the even-numbered sides are black. Now before each roll, you'll predict the color of the roll -- red or black. Each time you're right, you'll earn one additional pick. Hopefully, you can win three more picks and have a really good shot at winning that car. First roll's coming up. Will the color be red or black?

(ding)Red, you say. And we've locked in that color. Neat how we did that, huh? Havana, we're looking for a red number, please. (audience cheers as Havana rolls) (dings; audience applause)That'll work. A 5. (ding)With that correct prediction, you've just earned a second pick and $200. Each additional right hunch of a color awards $200 along with the additional pick. So with that, we're ready for the second of the three rolls. Before Havana rolls, what color? Red or black?

(ding)Red for the final roll. Havana, let's see an odd number, please. (audience cheers as Havana rolls) (audience groans)(buzz) Darn. Red. Well, two out of three ain't bad, as Meat Loaf would say. Now we go to the board. Four of these numbers are good. Three out of the four numbers hide cash; the remaining good number is the best number of all. It hides the word "win" and that pays $20,000. The other four numbers are bad. One number awards no money, the other two take away half your money, and the remaining number is the worst of all -- the spoiler. Find the spoiler and the game's over plus you lose everything you've won. So you could stop now $400 to the good -- or pick a number. (audience shouts suggestions)
