My new avatar is the title of a very old television program that originally aired in the early 1960s on WPVI-TV Channel 6 in the greater Philadelphia area. Channel 6 is an ABC affiliate.
I think "Operation Alphabet" had something like 190 shows. Reruns of this program aired until the early 1980s.
I remember on days when I was too sick to go to school and struggled to sleep, this show would air I think at like 5:30am or 6am.
I also seem to recall the host often using a magic marker and a giant note pad, similar to the one used on "Win, Lose or Draw".
Sadly, while I was able to find the show's logo which I always loved, there does not appear to be any episodes available online to watch.
