(audience cheers)Can you get a little more excited, Shederick? (scattered laughter from crowd) Kevin's not the secret square, but this is for $2500, the round, and another... (ding)...400 samolians. We know him as a classic game show host. But he was considered for the role of Barnabas Collins on the classic drama "Dark Shadows". Who is he?

I have a hard time believing this myself. But Woman's World verified this in a retrospective article on "Dark Shadows". Bert Convy of "Tattletales" and "Super Password" fame was considered for the role of Barnabas. (scattered woahs and gasps) I know, right? What might have been. Shederick, you've just won another round. (dings; audience applause; win music plays)Who was in the secret square? (ding)Bill McDee? Okay, let's quickly start a new round for $5000. Matt, please pick a square.

Starting with Lainey in the middle for... (ding)...just $250 but a vital strategic location. Lainey... Name the only animal born with horns poking out of its head.

(scattered laughter from crowd) Okay, let's get it together here. Shederick's playing for a corner square and... (ding)...another $250. Kevin (scans question) -- heh -- we may have more fainting spells... The 1981 film "The Final Conflict" was the second sequel to what 1976 horror classic?

With maternal greetings out of the way, let's see how much money's in your square this time, Immanuel. (ding) (audience cheers)$1000. To say the least, Matt, you could use the money. Immanuel... The mojito is a drink containing white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. It originates from what country?

Steve Anderson for da block

|
|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on Apr 30, 2023 20:12:16 GMT -5
Back to Steve Anderson for a block and... ...$500. Steve, the deepest tren-- (time's up bell) -- I started, so I'll finish. (scattered laughter from crowd) Wrong show, I know. That sound means this will be our last question in Hollywood Squares. Looking at the board and the scores, the game boils down to this one question. Shederick, if you do succeed in blocking, you'll obviously finish the game in the lead and become the new champion. If you miss, Matt gets the square *and* the diagonal win. In the process, Matt will score $5000 for the diagonal plus $500 from Steve's square -- meaning Matt would continue as champion. So, Steve, no pressure... The deepest trench in the world is located in which ocean?

The ocean of the soul of my lover.
No… I’ll never forget this. 6th grade. My teacher Gave us a mnemonic for the location of this trench. I’m short for time but her name was Marianne. The trench is called Marianas. And it’s located squarely in the PACIFIC OCEAN.
