Nels Snesrud will be playing against Justin Rhea. Justin had requested to appear on episode 1 and I totally had forgotten.
I'm making 2 changes, one to the front game and one with the bonus game.
For the front game, rather than having a final Strike it Rich question, I am instead going to have 3 boxes or envelopes for the player to choose from.
One will have a Strike, which would cause the player to lose control plus any unbanked money, one will be a dollar sign which would win the game automatically for the player, and the third will be a $1,000 money card.
If the player picks the money card first, they can either bank it and pass control to their opponent, or they can gamble it and try to find the dollar sign. Doing so would win the game plus that $1,000. Hitting the strike would cost the player control plus the unbanked $1,000 money card.
With the bonus game, as before, 5 dollar signs before 3 strikes will win the bonus cash plus any money that is in the pot. But I've made a few adjustments to the bonus game too:
There will be 8 numbered boxes instead of 9. Three will have strikes, three will have dollar signs, only 1 will now have a question mark, which will mean a question for the player to have to answer to earn a dollar sign, and a new feature the "50/50" card. If the player uncovers that one, then the box that hides the question mark will be taken out of play, and just the 3 boxes with dollar signs and the 3 with strikes will be activated, thus giving the player a 50/50 shot at hitting one or the other.
As always, once a player gets to 2 strikes, one of the three strike cards will again be replaced by the Bandit and hitting him would equal strike 3 plus losing any and all money in the bonus game pot.
As before, money will be added to the bonus pot each time a dollar sign is uncovered however, instead of choosing from 12 lettered envelopes, the bottom of the board will act as a "randomizer" of sorts. I will simply have the contestant select a letter from A through L to determine which dollar amount the player will add to his pot when a dollar sign is found or when a question is answered correctly.
Just working on a few more visuals and a bit more question material and episode 2 will be ready to go.
