(ding) And you get a B. Frank, only bad roll is still a 2. Guess for $1800, roll again, or pass to Kourtney?

(time passes) (buzz)And no decision in time. This means control of the game goes to Kourtney. Kourtney, this also means you get a free letter courtesy of the highest remaining number. (ding) It's a T. Kourtney, the only unlucky roll is still a 2. Guess for $1700, roll, or pass the dice back to Frank?

(ding) S and another T. Kourtney, 2 is *still* the only bad roll for this puzzle. Guess for $1500, roll, or pass the dice back to Frank?

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) When we have those medals up there on those screens, you know we're getting ready for another main event. Kourtney, you'll be playing it once again after winning another great game. Right now, we must cover the medals... (chime sfx)...with these lucky numbers. Kourtney, each time your roll's combination equals one of the lucky numbers, you collect the half medal behind that number. (prize music)Collect both halves of a particular medal and you get to trade it in for a prize. And here's Bill Kennedy to tell you what those medals represent today. Bill: Kourtney, first for the bronze medal, it's a complete bedroom suite. This comes complete a luxurious contemporary bed, dresser, and table. All yours with a gift card from Levitz furniture -- you'll love it at Levitz -- and it's worth $8000. (audience cheers)Next, for the silver medal, it's our special game of Higher and Higher. If you can boost a lucky number higher and higher, you could win up to $50,000 in cash. (audience cheers) Finally for the gold, get ready to escape to paradise -- in Jamaica. (audience cheers)You and ten friends will have the times of your lives in Jamaica -- spending 12 nights at an all-inclusive resort. This trip of a lifetime is furnished by Club Universe and valued at $98,765. So far, this main event has a potential value of $156,765 (audience cheers)Thanks, Bill. Kourtney, not only could you win those prizes and the try at the $50,000, you'll also have a shot at this cash jackpot. (drum beats; cha-ching) (audience cheers)...$145,000. To claim it, all you have to do is win all three medals. As you know, the jackpot increases by $2500 for each time you roll a combination that already revealed half a medal -- and by $5000 for each wild roll. Any wild roll of 2, 3, 11, or 12 allows you to snatch half a medal. But any roll of 7... (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)...puts the main event in the danger zone -- and puts all cash and prizes you've collected at risk. So at certain intervals in the danger zone, I'll give you a chance to quit while you're ahead. But if you're fortunate enough to avoid two rolls of 7, clean house, and collect all the medals, you'll win no less than $251,765 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers)Kourtney, you won a car on the last show. Do you think you can win it all today?

Let’s hope so. It really depends on the dice though. Hopefully I don’t see a seven any time soon.

(Doug hands Kourtney dice) Let's hope indeed. Let's hope for a lot of wild rolls off the bat. Good luck, Kourtney, and off you go. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) Boxcars! There's a wild roll. (drum beats; cha-ching)Great start, Kourtney. We add $5000 to the pot. You may now turn this 12 into which of those lucky numbers that's on the board? (audience shouts sugguestions)

(audience cheers)Had a feeling you'd go for one of the gold numbers. (chime sfx) All you need to do is roll a 10 in any combination -- or roll any of the wild combinations, including a 12, and your off to Jamaica. Please roll again, Kourtney. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) (audience groans) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)That's -- not gonna get ya to Jamaica. That will put you in the danger zone, unfortunately. And now, this means, it's decision time. You may stop now and cash in that half medal for $1000 -- or keep rolling. If you decide to keep playing, you must stay in the main event until you complete a particular medal. Only then will you have another chance to bail out with what you've won. So -- bail out now with $1000 or roll onward? (audience shouts suggestions)

(audience cheers)Had a feeling $1000 would be coming back to the house. Kourtney's already $85,000+ to the good. Keep on rolling. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) There's a 5. (chime sfx) Halfway to winning the silver medal for a chance to play Higher and Higher for up to $50,000. Let's get a 9, 10 or wild roll. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls)Oh noes! (buzz; PQA25 "wonk wonk" cue play; audience groans) Kourtney, a while back, we had the record for fastest main event win -- the bare minimum six rolls that would be required to clean house. I'm afraid you've set the record for fastest lost in the main event -- four rolls. (more groans) If this is not a record, it's probably the second fastest loss. Either way, time has allowed for a consolation game. We'll play it -- right after this on Lucky Numbers. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(commercial cue plays; audience applauds)Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. We've put the dice away for the day. But, Kourtney, let's see if you have better luck in our consolation game of Exact Change. Here's how we play it. This time, the lucky numbers are in order -- and they hide coins instead of letters. Three of the numbers hide nickels. Three others hide dimes. There are three quarters on the board. We've hide two half-dollar coins -- and one lucky penny. If you can rack up 75 cents in exact change, you can trade in the 75 cents for a $5000 Levitz gift card. If you go over 75 cents -- well -- you're stuck with over 75 cents. So in the event you could go bust, I'll offer you $50 for each nickel you've collected as a bailout. In other words, 55 cents would translate to $550. One more thing about the lucky penny. If you find the lucky penny, we don't just *one* cent to your score. We just go ahead and augment your total to 75 cents for an automatic win. (audience cheers)
(Kourtney, unless you have questions, please pick a number.)

Starting with 7. Interesting. What coin is there? (ASB win cue plays; audience applause) The lucky penny! Wow! Kourtney, the number that spelled your fast defeat in the main event resulted in a fast win here in Exact Change. Congratulations. (audience cheers)And -- based on tradition and the floor director showing me stretch, there's more good news. (scattered laughter from crowd) For winning Exact Change in one try, Kourtney, we let you pick one more number. This time, you win $100 for each cent you uncover. In other words, if you find a nickel, you get to trade in that nickel for $500. If you find a half dollar, you get to trade in that 50-cent piece for $5000. (audience cheers)A dime will make you a $1000 richer -- quarter pays $2500. So -- where's did we hide one of those half dollars, Kourtney? (audience shouts suggestions)

Our sponsor will love hearing that. Where was the rest of the money? (chime sfx) Ohhh -- look how close you were to the half dollars. They were at 10 and at 5. So close. Well, the bright side in this consolation game is that you have broken the 90 grand barrier. (audience cheers)$90,025 in cash and merchandise -- with a chance to win more on the next show.

Perhaps you'll get the cigar and more on the next show. Friends, 'til Kourtney and a challenger test their luck with the numbers, make it a great day, a great weekend, keep the faith, and treasure your loved ones. (closing theme plays; audience applause) Bill: This has been a Merrill Heatter Production -- in association with Century Towers.
