We want to extend a warm welcome to all members of NGC: Net Game Central. We do have a few rules that all members must follow.
GENERAL FORUM RULES
1. The following are prohibited on this forum
a) Pornography or sexual material of any kind. There is no place for that here. (The first sign of this will result in an automatic PERMANENT ban.)
b) Illegal files (music, warez, CD cracks/codes, etc...)
c) Hate speech in any form (including racism, sexism, etc...)
d) Extreme Profanity, especially in subject lines. If you think it might be profanity, it probably is.
e) Spamming - This includes multiple posts that can be considered useless, using the email system to send multiple emails to a member who does not wish to receive them, using the forum instant messaging system to send multiple messages to a member who does not wish to receive them, or posting multiple copies of threads.
f) Hijacking threads
2. Administrators and moderators reserve the right to delete anything they see as spam without warning.
3. Only one username per user. No duplicate accounts will be tolerated. Members found to have or be using duplicate accounts without permission from the forum administrator will be dealt with accordingly. (possible bans)
4. In discussion forums of this nature, typing with the CAPS lock on is considered shouting. Please show respect to your fellow forum members and ensure your Caps lock button is OFF before you post. Posts written entirely in CAPS may be removed.
5. Keep the foul language to a minimum. Even though we do have a censor here, we do have people as young as 13 here
6. A moderator/administrators' decision is FINAL
NET GAME RULES
1. You may host five (5) games at a time, your fifth game must be completed before you may start your sixth.
A few days after a game's completion, it will be permanently locked and stored in the archive. Only host games with "The Studio" section of the site. Hosting a NG outside this area will result in the NG being deleted without warning, and the user responsible will face the consequences.
2. You may participate in as many games as you can handle. Try to remember to think about the host and the other players when signing up to be a panelist/contestant. If you can't handle them all, everyone's game suffers.
3. If you are going to be unable to participate in a game, please post so on the game's topic or email the host. That will help everyone involved.
4. Be nice. Being rude or causing problems will NOT be tolerated! If you have an issue with someone doing such, please email/PM a mod, post on the Net Games, or report a post by pressing the report/"!" button on that post.
5. You are NOT allowed to invade a game that you are not a contestant in. Especially to make disparaging remarks or to say that you're NOT signing up. There is no need to do that.
Hosts, you must speak to the rule breaker in a respectful manner. This includes cursing, name calling, and other disrespectful acts. This also creates negative feelings and results for all people involved.
Hosts, it is up to you as to what invading is. Some feel it is any outsider posting in the topic, and others feel that it's only negative posts. Either is fine, and is up to you which is acceptable. It might be easiest to put what you feel is invading in your topic's first post so people can see. However, it is not mandatory for you to do so.
Also, please do not send private invitations to anyone. These games are open to the public and everyone deserves a chance to play the games. If the same people keep playing the same game, others may feel excluded.
6. Play fair. Cheating takes away the fun and challenge that 'Net Games are supposed to bring to all involved. The hosts put a lot of time and energy into their games and the contestants should have respect for that. Also, please do not edit your post once you have submitted an answer as this can be considered cheating.
7. It's absolutely fine to host a non-original game (one that already exists/had existed on TV) even if multiple others already do host the game. However, if you want to host an original member-created game, or add some twist to your game that has been devised by another host, it's STRONGLY recommended that you get the owner's permission first before going through with it.
8. If you have recently partaken in an Episode of a Net Game series, please wait 24 hours to sign up for the next episode before signing up to play again. We need to have new people play the games, y'know.
9. If your game has not been responded to after 45 days, the thread will be considered dead and will be deleted. If you wish to continue your game, please contact an admin, and we will attempt to restore your game.
10. If you are hosting, do NOT draft people to play your game. Doing so will make it less likely that they will want to play. Any host caught doing this will be given a temporary ban from hosting.
11. HAVE FUN!
CONSEQUENCES:
1st Offense: Warning (Meter will increase to 25%)
2nd Offense: Final Warning (Meter will Increase to 50%, possible temporary bans may follow)
3rd Offense: Temporary Ban (Meter will Increase to 75%)
4th & Final Offense: Permanent Ban
