With some hesitation and trepidation Immanuel says he will take the card. If it's anything from a 5 up to a 9, Immanuel will win the hand, otherwise, the hand and $100 will go to Kevin. Many higher cards still up for grabs on this board, so let's see how that passing strategy worked out. The Top Club is Immanuel's and it is...  OH NO, only a THREE!!!!!!!!!  Which means that YOU Kevin now are in control of the next card, and finally get to speak! If you keep the next card Kevin, you'll win if it's anything from a 3 up to a Queen. With that wide of a split, I'm not at all surprised. For $100 and a tie game, Witney, please deal Kevin his next card...  ON NO!!!!!!!!!!! (Screams from the audience)..... An ACE?!?!?! Usually a welcomed card for this game but NOT at THIS moment! Kevin, I'm sorry you busted, so $150 and another hand goes to Immanuel!  To paraphrase another program, "Skill, strategy, sabotage, and these unpredictable cards..." And are they EVER! Time for another puzzle toss up. Let's see what transpires here. Kevin, take heart, last show Immanuel was down 2 hands to 0 and almost came from behind to win that game, and he DID end up winning the match, so it's far far far from over! This time I need a word beginning with the letter R that connects the split...  PAINT with COASTER  And Immanuel is super fast on that button and in first again! (gasps from the audience) Yes the audience is a tad surprised, as am I, that you did not put that in the center, giving Kevin a very narrow 4 to 6 split...but again, this very well may work out. Witney, the common card instead will be what?  A Jack. So a 4 to a Jack split for you Immanuel, a Jack down to a 6 for Kevin. Time for the High Card toss up...  And once again Immanuel, you get first choice and right of first refusal. Since the Ace is still the highest card available and the 2 is still the lowest, should you uncover either of those, you will automatically maintain control over the Split Decision deck. Which box do you choose this time Immanuel? |
