Hello to all my friends here at the NGC Forum:
I know I haven't been very active on here for at least a few days. I want to sincerely apologize to the contestants on my current episode of Throwback Jeopardy! as well as to Immanuel Timms, whose Yahtzee I am currently the champion in. I haven't been able to check the forums lately for a number of reasons:
1. Work has been very, very busy as of late. We've had a shortage of staff at my child care center. There used to be three of us pre-K teachers on the second floor of our building, myself included. But now it's down to two because one of my team members injured her leg and is currently helping out on the first floor due to safety reasons. We have been using this new curriculum program at work and we have a coach who comes out to observe us every two weeks to see how we are doing with it. Plus, the children in my care have just been very rambunctious due to us being cooped up inside every day because of the weather.
2. Speaking of work, I am currently hunting for a new job at a new child care center. I won't discuss why but let's just say it has to do with my current boss. Anyway, I found a place five minutes from my house, went to an interview, filled out paperwork etc. I'm still waiting for a call back and I am nervous as all hell about it. I really want this new position and it's been eating away at me since I went for the interview.
3. I've been going through some stuff mentally which is in part due to the forementioned reasons. There's plenty more that I choose not to discuss with you folks.
Long story short, my life is getting in the way of doing things here on the forum. I ask that you give me some extra time and patience while I deal with work and my personal issues. I felt as though you were owed an explanation so this is it. Agaian, I apologize to thoose that have been affected by my absence. Please be patient with me. That's all I ask.
