PREMIERES MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2023 FOLLOWING SUPER BOWL LVII
As previously seen in the Workshop, this show will involve different elements: gridiron football trivia questions, a number board to make random selections that will affect the game setup and then the actual game itself where each contestant will have an historic NFL team representing them on the field. The Madden game play videos for each round are then posted in the show's thread.
Like the name suggests, each round starts at or near the two-minute mark of the 4th quarter. During the show, there are 4 rounds mirroring the 4 quarters of an actual football game. If the score is tied between our two contestants after 4 rounds, we will have sudden death overtime. Each contestant earns $1,000 for every point their teams score for them on the playing field. The available NFL teams will be used evenly across the 4 rounds. Round 1 (the 1st Quarter) being teams from the 1960s and 1970s. Round 2 (the 2nd Quarter) being teams from the 1980s and 1990s. Round 3 (the 3rd Quarter) being teams from the 2004 season. Round 4 (the 4th Quarter) and Overtime if necessary being your choice of any of the available teams from any decade.
The contestant who has scored the most points after 4 rounds becomes the returning champion and plays for a bonus of up to $200,000!
This thread will serve as the call for two contestants. The first to respond will be the HOME team, the second will be the AWAY team.
