Dee Baker: From the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi! It's.... CARD SHARKS!!!!! If you play your cards right, you could be headed to Boston! Or drive off in this Subaru Cross Trek or Toyota Corolla! Plus a possible jackpot of over $1,000,000! And now, the host of Card Sharks: BRYAN LAW!!!! (huge applause) Thank you Dee and welcome back to Card Sharks! We have a returning champion who's won over $20,000 in cash and prizes and looks to add much more on his third day here! He's been on a hot streak of sorts! But first let's bring out our dealers: Tiffany Coyne and James O'Hallaran everybody! (huge applause) How you doing guys? Tiffany: Having fun again! James: For now anyway! (laughter) You guys love to poop on my party don't you? Go ahead and set up the board and let's meet our Card Sharks! (applause) Raymond welcome back, Nels welcome to our show! Raymond is our returning champion with $22,302 in cash and prizes! (huge applause) He's won a lot of prizes including a trip to the Adirondacks! But you want more money, am I right?

Good luck as we explain our game! Champion Raymond plays the red cards and challenger Nels plays the blue cards! You each must predict whether the next card is higher or lower than the one preceding it! If you make it across, you win a game! First one is worth $100, the first to $500 wins the match and moves on to the Money Cards for a shot at $80,000! (huge applause) And afterwards you'll have a shot at one of two automobiles or our progressive jackpot which starts at $100,000! (ding) I'll explain how it progresses in a moment, but one way it can go up is if you find the MILLION card that's in each of your decks! Included is some prizes including a trip to Boston worth almost $7,000! (huge applause) Not only that, we have our CA$HPOT worth $3,000 this time around! But before you get a shot at the card, you must answer a high-low toss up question! Our first question involves ten journalists in our studio audience! (applause) Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our program! Raymond, this question is for you! Before the show we asked these ten journalists: Have you ever regretted posting something on social media? How many journalists say they do regret it?

I think a decent amount of them do, I’m gonna say 6.

Lower please

|
|
Post by Bryan on Jan 25, 2023 19:19:11 GMT -5
He says lower! (ding) If you're right, you go to the board but if not, Raymond will! The actual number of these journalists who regret posting something on social media is.... (ding ding ding ding) Four of them, it was lower! (applause) Even journalists are gonna make simple mistakes at times! Folks thank you so much, we hope to see you later on! Okay Nels, here's how we build our jackpot: Cards 2-10 multiplies by 100! Jacks are worth $2,000, Queens $3,000, Kings $4,000 and Aces $5,000! Since you won the question, you have the right to change your base card..... You have an 8!

Post by Bryan on Jan 27, 2023 13:30:25 GMT -5
Freezing on the 9! That keeps Raymond away from his cards! Nels, second question goes to you! We surveyed 100 fourth grade students and we asked them: Do you know how to play chess? How many fourth graders say they do?
|
|
|
Post by nelson21 on Jan 27, 2023 13:42:39 GMT -5
I'm gonna say 42

He says lower! (ding) The actual number of fourth graders who do know how to play chess is... (ding ding ding ding) 36 of them, it was lower! (applause) Okay Raymond, you have your first crack at the board.... You have a 5!

Higher than a 5.... No! (BUZZ) Back to the 5 you go! Nels you get a free shot, but because you did not win the question, you must play off the 9! What is your call?
