Doug: Thank you, Tiffany. Hellooooooo, everybody -- and welcome to On A Roll.

The last time we were together, we had a champion who didn't leave the dice table a millionaire -- but did walk away with quite a bundle. And we have two returning players looking for more money. So, let's welcome today's rollers.


(theme plays; audience applause)

Raymond Weaver and Frank Driscoll are back at the dice table. Each player is on Level 1.

Raymond so far has $3800 in cash winnings. Frank, with one strike against you, you're doing better in the money department -- $38,500.

Players, as you know, I'll ask a toss-up question. Then, three letters will randomly appear. When they do, you may signal. First player to chime in and correctly identify the name wins four rolls of the dice.

And there we have numbers and blocks hiding three clues that lead to the identity of a person, place or thing.

Frank, as you know, you'll roll numbers and sums with the dice to uncover as many letter as you can. The spaces blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue.

As you roll, please avoid doubles. Anytime you throw doubles, you lose control of the dice to the opposition -- who picks up a free letter.

This means you may take any 5 and 3 off the board -- and you don't have to play them on the same row -- or you may play the sum and take an 8.
