In the last week I have stumbled upon two really good finds for PC Game lovers like me! Youtube creator Smashwhammy developed and dropped two HUGE retro mods for BigJon's Wheel of Fortune and The Price Is Right. While the TPIR mods are mostly BigJon's Season 46 with merely retro doors slapped on some of the screens, they include a mod for Doug Davidson's 1994 syndicated version with the music included. The WoF mods however are massive! Complete with accurate puzzle boards, theme music, sound effects, and wheel space patterns. The only thing that couldn't get taken out is the bonus prize wheel and extra 3 consonants and 1 vowel rule for pre-1988 mods. Here is the link to the Wheel of Fortune mods. WARNING! the overall zip is gigantic, so I recommend downloading each season mod individually. mega.nz/folder/WjJjlKaR#5iaSdiCbMBA6ZwSzOWtCDgLink to The Price Is Right Mods. archive.org/details/bigjon-tpir-era-modsEnjoy!

i've since updated the WOF stuff to use an older version of jon's game during the time frame before they added 500 per letter for prize wedges (including the gift tag)

Flash still works, it's just no longer supported. I play it using a virtual machine that has Windows XP installed on it.

i set the time on my windows 11 laptop to a year prior to the "death date" of Flash, then install Flash (the version of it jon recommends), and it worked

Question: If you saw Elijah's TPIR videos, his crowd control is huge. How do we get to that?

you mean the audience in game?, the "game options" menu lets you set an audience size of 10 to 60 people in the later versions

I apologize for this dumb question, but how do I get the games to work on Windows 11? I tried the above method and I am running into a problem where any installer for Flash Player 10.0 gives an error to go to the Adobe website for an updated installer. I installed 10.2 and it errors out on The Price is Right whenever I try to play a TV game or play in Tournament Mode.
I've seen guys on YouTube play the game on Windows 11 flawlessly. I've asked in the comments section for help and I haven't gotten a response.

I really hope this isn't against the rules or anything but I use to have a PC with The Price is Right that bigjon made, I think it was season 38. It had tournament mode and where you could play the million dollar spectacular. Well I had a house fire and that computer that had the game downloaded onto it was destroyed along with the USB drive I backed it up on. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get this download again with all the needs.exe files and announcer files it originally had.I could even send some money via PayPal if anyone would be willing to help me out on where to go or even mail me usb drive or SD card with the files on it.
Also with flash being pretty much gone now is there a way to play these flash games on a new purchased computer? Sorry if these are dumb questions I'm just not overly knowledgeable when it comes to computer technology. Thank you in advance to anyone that might be able to help.

gonna go ahead and post these here before i do a youtube video of the links: the NEW links to the mods from the OP at the top of the threads *NOTE: Not only will these 2 links cover the various era related mods for both Price and WOF, but other mods as well (Holiday/Special editions for TPIR, including @night and the 1986 Specials from Summer of that year as well as a WOF mod based around the 80s board games released by Pressman) archive.org/details/syndicated-season-26-28-2008-2011archive.org/details/1970s-hour-longi'll keep this thread's folks up to date on any major changes to the two links (aka when i add a NEW mod, not a hotfix/patch involving a graphics update from something i missed)
in fact, (edited this part in, btw)i'm throwing a THIRD mega-pack of mods....this one for PYL Expert Edition (also included are things like the older game control software from the defunct Game Show Warehouse, the Necrotech Whammy! s1 game. Curt King's game, and the flash-based PYL Simulator)
I've updated the slides for PYL EE and the sound quality with HQ/Clean audio wherever/whenever possible on all the games mentioned, as well as corrected the pilot boards on the corresponding Whammy! game control with the information that came out after the last version of that thing was made (what with Wink Martindale posting Peter Tomarken's pilot episode, followed years later by Todd Newton's)
one more thing... not only is 3.3 here, but EE 3.1 and 3.2 are also present (with updated slides and sounds)

did a major overhaul of a lot of the TPIR mods, including adding a modernized version of the Rainbow Wheel for 1975 and bringing the Purple Wheel to 2008 (s37)
how I was able to find the wheel bases I used for these? that's a story for another thread...literally
stay tuned (in the meantime, the updates to the mods are in the same link)
