As you know, the real Feud aired its last-ever daytime episode in 1993, but I will continue to host the show beyond that to give everyone an idea of what it would've been like had CBS not cancelled it and the current run of the show (comprising of the Anderson, Karn, O'Hurley and Harvey eras) also aired a daytime companion. This is similar to how Kevin does his Wheel of Fortune series, and of course, there will be some modifications to the format while using the syndicated version's changes. Starting with 1994 and continuing to whenever the current year would be, the changes will go according to those from the previous syndicated year, so Dawson's return would place the show in 1995, and the third run would start in 2000.
Here are some highlights for the continuation:
1995 will return to the half-hour format and use the Bankroll round from the first half, as opposed to syndicated half-hour episodes using that from the second half (keep in mind that not all markets aired the full hour at the time).
From 2000 to 2001, Fast Money will award $5,000. In 2002, the prize will increase to $10,000.
In keeping with the daytime tradition, all episodes will have returning champions, with the five-game limit in place.
For 2010, the Bullseye round will start with a $7,500 base, and award $2,500 for each hit, making the potential jackpot $15,000.
Afterwards, I will continue the syndicated version from 2020, and catch up to whatever current season it is in at the time.
There'll be more to come, so stay tuned...
