With the chance to win a whole lotta loot, including a bunch of prizes and brand new cash Jackpot worth at least $20,000! Here's all to expect:
(rules subject to change)
3 Players compete for thousands of Dollars in cash and merchandise
Round 1
Each player starts with $20 in their bank. A round of 5 questions are asked to the players. Each correct answer is worth $5, while an incorrect answer deducts $5. After 5 questions, an Instant Bargain game is played.
The bargain prize is worth no more than $1,000, and has a bargain price between $5-$10. Prices can drop if the player opts to not take the prize initially, or some bonus cash can be offered.
At various points in the game, certain prizes will have a “Sale Surprise”. These are usually cash or extra prizes. Sale surprises are worth no more than $3,000 in round 1, $4,000 in round 2, and $5,000 thereafter.
Another 5 questions are then asked, this time worth $10 a piece, with $10 deducted for an incorrect guess.
After these questions, in place of a second bargain game, a new game is played. If a player chooses to play, it’ll cost them $10. The player can win any prize in this game under $10,000. At least 2 players are needed.
Example:
P1: $65
P2: $68
P3: $40
AUCTION:
A prize is shown to the players, and each player places their bid as to how much of their score they’re willing to put up for the prize. The prize goes to the highest bidder, and each player can change the maximum bid at any time they wish. There is no order for the bidding, and each bid has to be at least $5.
As with the Instant Bargain, auction prizes can have a “Sale Surprise”. The Sale Surprise goes to the highest bidder along with the prize.
After this, the round is over.
Round 2
Starts the same as round 1, with $15 questions and $15 deducted for a wrong answer. After 5 questions, a Fame Game is played!
A Who Am I type question is played, with a set of clues that gets easier as time progresses, with up to 10 clues given. The player who buzzes in and guesses correctly gets a shot at the board. If a player is stumped, the game continues with that player out for the rest of the question. If all 3 players are stumped, the game is forfeited.
The first contestant to buzz in with a correct answer faced a game board with nine numbers (1-9). Behind those numbers were cash awards, prizes, surprises and Money Cards ($10, $15, and $25) which are added for each round. The player in control chooses a number, and whatever they find now belongs to that player. If a Money Card is found, its value is added to the player's score. There were also two spaces that give the player in control to either take a cash prize or choose another number (one marked $500, the other a mystery cash amount between $100 and $2,500). Contestants that found cash prizes or merchandise kept them whether they won the match or not. There are also “Pick again” cards, which makes a player either keep their prize or try again for another one, and also prizes that are worth no more than $5,000.
Another 5 questions are played after the Fame Game, and another Instant Bargain is played after that. Each question is still $15.
Round 3
This is the Speed Round. In this round, there are 10 questions, and the players try to answer as many questions as possible. A right answer is worth $20 this time with a wrong answer deducting $20. The player with the highest score after the Speed Round is declared the champion, and wins a bonus prize for winning the match. The runner ups each win $1,000 on top of their winnings as consolation. The winner goes to the winner’s board to win up to 5 prizes, one of which is $50,000 in cash.
WINNER’S BOARD
To play the winner’s board costs $150, so the player can either keep their winnings and go for higher or pay to play for over $100,000.
There are 5 prizes a player can win:
A luxury car worth no more than $60,000
A cash jackpot that starts at $20,000 and increases $5,000 each day until won
A luxury trip somewhere
And 2 other luxury prizes
The player is faced with a 5x5 board. Each prize is grouped in 3 amongst the board, along with 3 Instant Win, 2 Instant Loss, and cash prizes of $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000. The player picks a square, and can either keep the prize or, so long as they don’t have an instant loss, they can pick again. Since a game costs $150, each pick is worth $25. The player continues at the board until they match a prize or until they run out of money. If the player finds an instant loss, they lose instantly. If they find an instant win, they win any prize of their choice along with $50,000 in cash!
I hope to see you all at the bargain center this January!
