I enjoyed it, it has a lot of moving parts to it so I am not sure how it would play to a non-football fan type audience.
Personally, I found it rather cool, cute even with the video re-enactment. Loved the tie in with football trivia questions too myself, but again, if that was going to be the norm, it would definitely be for a more niche audience.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have added a poll to the top of this thread and voting on it will remain open until New Year's Eve. If I get enough "Yes" votes and of course more yes than no votes, then I will make this a Channel 1 show sometime early in 2023.
I agree it is a niche audience, but I think it would work so long as we get enough people interested to be contestants.

Incidentally, I should describe my thoughts for how the bonus round would work on the show:
You would pick a team of your choice from the dozens of available teams to be your offense. We would randomly pick an opposing team to be the defense. You would have a shot at winning a bonus of up to $200,000. Like the regular show, we would once again have 4 segments (or quarters). You would start each segment of the bonus round 1st and 10 with 2:00 on the clock and you would essentially win of bonus of $1,000 for every yard you gain.
For the first segment, you are at your opponent's 20-yard line with no timeouts and can earn a bonus of up to $20,000 if you score a touchdown. There will be no field goal attempts, your team will always go for it on 4th down. If you did score a touchdown, that bonus money is locked in and you can't lose it. This means you can go for the next segment without fear of losing the money you have won so far. If you don't score though, let's say you turn the ball over on downs at the 4-yard line, this would mean you had gained 16 yards and earned $16,000 but you would lose that sixteen grand if you continued onto the next segment and didn't score a touchdown there either.
For the second segment, you start at your opponent's 40-yard line with one timeout and earn an additional $40,000 bonus for scoring a touchdown.
For the third segment, you start at your own 40-yard line with two timeouts and earn an additional $60,000 bonus for scoring a touchdown.
For the final segment, you start at your own 20-yard line with three timeouts and earn an additional $80,000 bonus for scoring a touchdown.
So if you play all 4 segments and score touchdowns each time, it would result in a total bonus of $200,000. If you failed to score a touchdown in back-to-back segments, the bonus round would end and you would win nothing, since that second time you would have risked whatever you'd won to that point. You could of course stop after failing to score a touchdown the first time and walk away with whatever money you have earned.

I messaged Shederick and asked him if he would test out this bonus round with me, he said yes so we are pretending he won the game and this would be his bonus round.
Shederick, we start by finding out what defense you will face. We have concealed 10 of the greatest defenses of all time up on this board. They are:
1967 Raiders 1969 Chiefs 1969 Vikings 1973 Dolphins 1976 Steelers 1985 Bears 1986 Giants 1991 Eagles 2000 Ravens 2002 Buccaneers
So choose a number please Shederick and let's see who your team will face for this first segment of the bonus round.

Number 4 it is...the defensive team card behind 4 is
the 2002 Tampa Bay Bucs! So to grab that first $20,000 in bonus money, your offense will have to get by the likes of Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks and Ronde Barber!
Speaking of the offense, in the bonus round you may choose from any of the available teams. We have championship teams from the 1960s pre-Super Bowl era, we have most Super Bowl teams from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and of course since we are simulating with Madden 2004, we have all 32 teams from the 2004 season available as well.
Which offense would you like Shederick? You can also tell me which offensive playbook you want (Run Balanced, Pass Balanced or Run Heavy) and what defensive you want the 2002 Bucs to use (3-4 or 4-3).

Okay, well don't forget we have multiple season versions of each team, so do you want the 2004 Saints, the 1992 Saints or the 1987 Saints?

Ok it's Shederick's 1987 Saints vs. the 2002 Buccaneers defense with $20,000 on the line. Stay tuned for the video action!

I didn't build any extra graphics for this test but we would have some scoreboard showing your dollar amount.
Ok, so that was no problem for Bobby Hebert and the Saints from 20 yards out, but do you want them again from 40 yards away?
That twenty thousand is safe for now, so you might as well go for the next segment which would add another forty thousand to your total. You can use the 1987 Saints again if you want or choose a different offense if you prefer. The defense will be different though, so which number this time Shederick?

Alright, going right below number 4 to number 9...what do we have there?
(ding)
Oh, the 1976 Steelers! Their defense finished that season allowing an average of just 9.9 points per game which is still a franchise record! 3-4 or 4-3 playbook Shederick?

Okay so this time, the Saints scrimmage 1st and 10 with 1 timeout from the Steelers' 40-yard line with a chance for Shederick to earn an additional $40,000 in bonus money! Stay tuned for the video!

My apologies, I made a typo...it was the 1975 Steelers and not the 1976 Steelers.

Well the Steelers proved a bit much for the Saints that time Shederick. You managed to gain 9 yards before turning the ball over on downs though, so here's the situation: You can quit now and take a bonus of $29,000 or risk it all and play the third segment of the bonus. This time around, if you fail to score a touchdown, the game is over and you win nothing. If you make it the entire 60 yards into the end zone this time though, you'd be guaranteed to walk away with a bonus of at least $89,000!
So do you want to go for it or stop here?

Ok great, well thanks again to you both for participating! Bill (or anyone else), if you have thoughts on that Bonus Round, feel free to post them here, otherwise I guess that wraps it up. There aren't any No votes on the poll so far, so unless that changes drastically, look for this show sometime in early 2023 on Channel 1!
