Mrs. McDee has got the big "C" (Dec 3 update)

My Mrs. is finishing up her first of two weeks off from her job.

She began having cold symptoms last Sunday.

She kept testing and the tests were negative.

She tested today (Thursday) and the covid test this time was positive.

I will be testing myself shortly.

So depending on how she is doing, and how I am doing, I may be delayed in hosting and/or as a player, so I'd ask for you to keep that in mind.

I'll provide an update either later tonight or early tomorrow.

Thanks, I have a test result pending as we "speak".

My test was negative.  If I awaken feeling unwell, I'll test again.  Hoping I don't get it again.  I have time off from work at the end of the year and don't want to lose out on that.

Mrs. McDee is still on the mend but doing fairly well for the most part.

I tested negative so far, but then so too did she until Thursday.

Now our son has a very bad and deep cough, but it seems to have subsided.  He was finally able to get some sleep last night.

We will be testing him this morning.  I will test again Monday morning before work.  If I have it I'll stay home, if not, I'll have to continue to mask and to take lunch and breaks in isolation.

On top of that, one of my favorite aunts passed away last night.  She was 77.  She had pneumonia which was exacerbated by her smoking habit and having had Covid as well.

Nov 29th was the 30th anniversary of her husband's passing.  He was my favorite uncle.  Dec 1st was the 15th anniversary of my all time favorite aunt's passing, and she was also my Godmother.

Now Dec 2nd the passing of another aunt who I was very fond of.  Her oldest son died in 1986 at age 20.  His birthday was Dec 4th (same as Wink Martindale's).  So this is a very bittersweet time of year for me, made even moreso now by getting this news.

I'm busy doing many more chores than usual too, so my apologies for being slower than usual on here.

Thanks!  I'm doing well.  My son just tested positive for Covid.  He said to my wife, "That's interesting...can I have hash browns with breakfast?"

Just business as usual LOL!
