Kind of a good news/bad news here. The bad news is unfortunately I won't be able to do another Retro Jeopardy episode like I did last year. The good news however is, I am currently developing an edition of Jeopardy loosely based off of the 1978-79 NBC version hosted by Art Fleming. One change is the Bonus Game. On the original show they had Super Jeopardy, but in my version it is Bonus Jeopardy! Once I get a volunteer I will explain how it works. A maximum potential payoff of $25,000 could be realized in this game. Who's in?

Good deal Immanuel! Here is how this goes. The winner of the front game would face this bonus board. Any front game dough that you would have won would be yours to keep no matter what. For winning the front game match, you will receive 5 choices of these 20 numbers. Currently hidden behind 16 of them are cash awards, one Daily Double and 3 Strikes. If you uncover one strike, that is a warning. Also it means one of the remaining money amounts will be replaced with another strike card. You'll have the option to quit and take any money you find, or gamble. A second strike will cut your total in half and another strike card will be added to the board. You can earn up to 5 more picks from this board. We have 5 categories hidden and 5 clues, one for each. We will reveal one at a time. You will have 48 hours from the time the answer is posted to give me the correct question to earn another pick from the bonus board. Please be sure to phrase your responses in the form of a question. Speaking of, any questions you may have before we proceed?

And I forgot most important of all, if you uncover a third strike you will wipe out and win $0.

Very good! The first category for Bonus Jeopardy is one of our friendly competitors... "THE PRICE IS RIGHT"... For a 6th choice, the answer is... (flip) This classic pricing game's booby prize is money in a piggy bank.

Oh no I'm sorry, the correct question is "What is 42?" Six geese a layin' Seven swans a swimmin'.... You still have six picks, we'll try for a 7th with FIRST AND LAST, and that answer is... They are the names of the first book and the last book of the New Testament of the King James Version of the Holy Bible.

And... Well well, $550 more! Even the board seems to know "5" is your favorite number. $1,050 so far, 7 picks remaining, a Daily Double is up there. If you uncover it, your pot total will double instantly! And incidentally, if a player ever selects it first, their final end game total would be doubled automatically. Where to next sir?
