Watermelon smashing comic Gallagher has passed away. If I'm not mistaken, did he not appear on at least one week's worth of Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour? I know Bruce Baum did and they looked somewhat similar.
Also passing on 11/11/22 was long time Days of our Lives actor John Aniston, father of acclaimed actress Jennifer. John portrayed reformed villainous Greek mogel and businessowner Victor Kiriakis on DOOL since 1985. He also was on DOOL way back in 1970 portraying a doctor, but was only on for about a year. John, along with a handful of other daytime soap actors graced the cover of the very first Soap Opera Digest magazine. Mr. Aniston was 89.
Another DOOL alumni, and probably best known as LeBeau on "Hogan's Heroes" was Robert Clary. Robert was age 96. To the best of my knowledge, I do believe he was the last original surviving cast member of H.H.
Kenneth Washington, who replaced Ivan Dixon on the program is still alive.
Clary also portrayed Robert LeClair back in the 1970s and early 1980s on Days.
May they all rest in peace, and may their families, friends and fans persevere during this difficult time of transition in their lives.
