Greetings, all. Your host is riding a roller coaster of emotion this week.
Five years ago tonight, one job ended after I accepted a offer from a competing organization. I'd never advocate burning bridges -- unless "the other guys" do a much better job believing in you. It's been that way from the moment I sent "the other guys" my résumé. As God is my witness, I've never dreaded the onset of a Monday since crossing the street.
While my actual work anniversary is next week, my brother would have celebrated a birthday this weekend. It's been quite unusual *not* shopping for gifts the last few weeks. I honestly don't know what to expect Saturday. It has also been strange not even thinking about visiting his home in November for Thanksgiving.
So, with highs experienced and possible lows looming, it's best I do not host any more this week -- and kind of stay under the NGC radar until Sunday night. As of this writing, On A Roll is the only game that's yet to close -- and all I have to do is "roll the closing credits". I'll get to that ASAP.
