(Lisa touches screen) There's another G. With two rolls to go this round, Raymond, guess the middle clue or roll again?

I’ll roll again.

(audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)Another low-ish roll of a 1 and a 4 -- or a 5. You'll have to go downstairs and take the 4 or 5.

I’ll take the five on the bottom row.

(Lisa touches screen) I see a C there. Raymond, you may guess that bottom clue or take the last roll in this round.

(dings; audience applause) That's it. Now, Raymond, we're down to the last roll in this round -- but you may not need... ...because you have a chance to solve this puzzle.

I wanna take the last roll.

Okay, before you do, I have a judge flailing his arms to signal it's play-or-pass mode. (scattered laughter from crowd) By solving a clue earlier, at least one roll beyond doubles cannot be played. So when that happens, it's just as bad as a double; your opponent gets a free letter. So, with that, Raymond, do you still want to take the last roll in this round -- or pass the dice to Frank?

Very well, Raymond. This means you'll need a sum of 3 -- or a sum higher than 6 -- or a roll that includes the number 3 on one of the dice. And of course, you don't want doubles. You're still -- on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Raymond rolls) (more cheers) And it's a 1 or a *3* -- or a 4. The only way this works is by taking the 3 in the middle row. So, Lisa, if you will... (Lisa touches screen)...give Raymond the letter N. Now, Raymond, you may guess the middle clues if you'd like. A wrong guess or a pass means we play a really crucial name game.

(TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx)(a few groans from crowd) No -- and it sounds like a few of you know the whole puzzle. Please keep it to yourselves. Game's about to get fast and furious ahead of the fourth round of dice rolls and this name game. (FF reveal sfx)Eight-letter answer -- to this question. What fictional character, this is a work of fiction we're dealing with here... What fictional character got on a roll -- even when gumshoes from ACME CrimeNet were hot on her trail? (ding)
(Raymond and Frank, please do three things in one PM... \ Provide a buzz code. \ Give an answer to the question. \ In case your answer is right and your buzz code is closer to random.org's number, include your option to roll or pass -- keeping in mind non-double sums higher than 6 work as of this writing.)

Hopefully not in a secluded grotto with a certain disgraced former morning show anchor from another network. (audience laughs and applauds)Frank, crucial decision... ...we're looking for a non-double sum higher than 6. So -- roll or pass? Frank: I’ll roll the dice. Then, please step into the box. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls) (audience groans)(buzz)Ohh -- 4 and 1 make 5. Sorry. Players, please trade places. Raymond, you're back in business... ...with a free letter.

(scattered groans) (TPiR overbid horn)Ohhhh -- and let me explain what that horn means. Time is running out in this game, players. Please take one more good luck at the clues up there -- because we now replaces the clues... (FF reveal sfx)...with the actual solution to the puzzle -- and we're going to play the solution as if it were a name game to determine the winner of this game. Much like a regular name game, we start by randomly revealing three letters when I say "go". If necessary, we'll reveal a fourth letter but can't reveal the fifth letter -- because -- ya know -- it would give it all away. (scattered laughter from crowd) If you chime in and come up with the correct solution, you win the game and your opponent is assessed one strike. If you're wrong, your opponent gets a free guess. So, good luck and play carefully. This is for the game. Here -- we -- go. (ding)
(Raymond and Frank, please respond with your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)
