(audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)Okay, we get a 4 and a 1 -- or a 5... ...now, Frank, the fives are gone and blocked. So you can't play the sum. The ones are gone and blocked. So you can't play that particular number. Fortunately, the fours are ripe for the picking right now. So you'll take the 4 from -- which row?

Well I realized the term The Dude isn’t seen that often anywhere else, and I looked at the top clue and I could tell that might’ve been Jeff Daniels so i put two and two together and there you go.

Very well. Let's reveal the top and bottom row clues, please. Indeed -- Jeff Daniels, who played "the dude" in the -- bowling movie. "The Big Lebowski". (Puala places dice near Frank's buzzer) Well that's the puzzle -- and with two strikes, this ends the reign for Shederick. We're sorry you won't be able to have a rematch against Kourtney in the OAR World Series. However -- how can we say you lost? You're taking home our great thanks and cash and merchandise that total $369,945 (audience cheers)Please spend the money well and enjoy your prizes -- as well as this nice walk with Puala. One more big hand for Shederick. (audience cheers) (Shederick and Puala walk off-stage arm-in-arm) Well, Frank, you road to riches is just now starting with the money roll. For reaching Level 1, this money roll's sum will be multiplied by $5000. Doubles are allowed on the money roll, which determines the most you could win in Big 6. So a roll of double sixes will mean $60,000. (audience cheers)So good luck and let's see some high numbers. (audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)(cha-ching) (audience cheers)Well -- not too shabby. The 4 and 3 add up to 7 -- and they lead to a $35,000 game of Big 6 -- when you return to the dice table. (theme plays; audience cheers)

Well -- ready or not -- here -- comes -- Wally! (audience cheers)Wally, anything you'd like to say to the new champ? (FF reveal sfx) (audience laughs and applauds) A line from "The Big Lebowski" -- of course. Wally, may we have the numbers for Big 6 please? (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Frank, those dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out your Big 6 word -- currently valued at $35,000. Much like the main game, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the word as you possibly can. Now, Wally's about to give us a hint. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding)It's game time. This means the Big 6 word relates in some way to a sport or a game. The word may or may not be a proper noun. Frank, since you solved the puzzle earlier with just one clue fully revealed, you earn an extra hint. Wally, may we have that next hint, please? (FF reveal sfx)Played for kicks. Okay. Frank, much like the earlier game, you get four rolls of the dice. What's different here is if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. So if you rolled a 1 and a 4, you could have Wally reveal the first letter or the fourth letter -- but not the fifth letter. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, you're $35,000 richer! (audience cheers)But if you need a second roll, the value of the Big 6 word drops to $5000 -- and for each roll thereafter, we cut the potential winnings in half. While you're on a roll in Big 6, anytime you throw doubles or two different numbers you've already played, that counts as a wasted roll and reduces your potential winnings accordingly. (Puala hands Frank dice) So -- you've got the rules -- and the dice -- and hopefully I've stretched enough -- (scattered laughter from crowd) -- because you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)And we'll start at or near the beginning with the 1 and a 2. Frank, would you like the first or second letter?

Wally, please set up a Lucky game. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Frank, here's how Lucky 7 works. Wally will give you a certain number of chances to roll any sum of 7 on the dice. But before Wally sets the timer, we need to find out what is at stake. All you have to do is pick a letter in the word "lucky". Since you're on Level 1, the amounts Wally stashed in the word "lucky" range in value from $25,000 to $100,000. (audience cheers)The higher the amount you find, the harder it's going to be to win. But all it takes is one lucky roll to win big -- just like you did in Big 6. So -- which letter in "lucky" would you like?

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Aug 22, 2022 19:37:18 GMT -5
Wally, please show us what you stuffed in the letter L. (cha-ching) (audience cheers)$25,000. Well -- it's less than what you won in Big 6. But 25 large is still a nice payoff. (alarm goes off) Now, there's the shutdown timer activation. Wally's setting the time based upon the value of the cash award you just found against the values of the others. Since you found the lowest amount, you should get six rolls of the dice. (ding) And you do. Frank, this means you'll have a maximum of six chance to roll any sum of 7. Anytime the dice roll totals more or less than 7, you receive the sum in hundreds of dollars. Any roll of doubles, however, is worthless *and* causes an automatic shutdown of the game. So, Frank, are you ready to get back on a roll for $25,000?

Then I wish you good luck -- and you're back on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)(loud groans) Close call! (ding) Narrow escape! Wait -- wrong show. (scattered laughter from crowd) $600 with five more rolls to go. (audience cheers as...) (Frank rolls)Three and two make $500 more. (ding) $1100 so far. Come onnnnn - 7! (Frank rolls)Four and a six for a grand. (ding) Three shots to go. (Frank rolls)Oh the irony -- a 1 and a 2 for $300 more. (ding) $2400. Let's see if *this* roll pays off $25,000. (Frank rolls)(loud groans) *Almost* made it again! (ding) Fortunately, Frank, you're at least $3000 richer. With one roll left, Frank, do you think this last roll will be the charm?
