A lot of changes as we change networks and studios...
-We're playing for cash from here on out. No more shopping. -There will be a minimum of four rounds. The top dollar amounts are $500 for Rounds 1 and 2, $1,000 for Round 3 and $1,250 after that. -$50 is now the minimum value on the wheel. -Free Spin is now available in Rounds 1 and 2. -Vowels now cost $200. -Prize wedges are added to the wheel beginning in Round 2. Up to two prizes will be added in subsequent rounds if one is claimed. Landing on a Prize wedge gives you the right to pick it up and call a letter for the value underneath. -$5,000 cash is now available to play for in the Bonus Round.
David Barkow returns for his third and final day, having already won $49,330. Who'd like to challenge him? I need two players.

Audience: WHEEL!...OF!...FORTUNE! *1989 Changing Keys* Jim Thornton: Look at this studio, filled with lots of exciting prizes! Including... Our all-new $5,000 cash bonus! A fabulous trip to Houston! An elegant gold necklace! Plus thousands of dollars in cash, all waiting to be won on today's show! Yes, from Net Game Central, it's Wheel of Fortune! And now, here's your host: Kevin Kolsen! Me: Thank you, Jim! Welcome to our new home here on CBS! That's right, we've got the same game, but we're just going to play it differently from now on. It's not often I get to say happy birthday to America when I open a show, like the late, great Ray Combs once did. Hope you all are enjoying this holiday. And I get to enjoy some company of my own, the lovely Vanna White! Here she comes!
*bridge of '89 Changing Keys plays as Vanna walks on stage to the puzzle board*
We also have three players ready to play Wheel the way they did back in '89.
To the viewer's perspective on the left is David Barkow. David's been having a good tail end of the 80s so far. He seeks to retire undefeated with $49,330 so far.
*cheers and applause*
You ready to do this again, David?

All right. Maybe you'll do that. We have two people who don't want to see it happen, starting with Danny Margulis. Danny, what's new with you?

That's great. I feel that you also have a bright future ahead of you. Perhaps, I'll be right about it within the next 30 minutes as well.
*spins the wheel*
$500 is the top dollar value for our first round. Remember, this is a play-for-cash show now. You'll all have the opportunity to win some prizes, you just won't have to pay a cent for them. Here's our first puzzle.
*puzzle reveal chimes*
The category is Title. Now, just before the show, we drew numbers to see who would start the game.
On this show, it happens to be David. All the best!

One T.

The wheel gave you $200. That is enough for a vowel, unless you want to spin again or solve.
